I've been following this sub for a while now, but never been confident enough to share my own story. I know my brother knows my reddit name - and there is a really good chance he'll see this. I'm fine with it now, I think it could even be good if he reads it. (Hey bro, if you're reading this.)

When I was in high school, things got really bad in my house. My mom got cancer - and that made her angry. She was always angry before that too, but it got so much worse when she got sick. Well, maybe not when she got sick, but when she started using alcohol to cope with being sick.

All of that led to anger from her. As a child, I thought it was anger towards me - that I wasn't enough. That I didn't

I've been playing on and off (more on than off) since beta. I have well over 1000 hours in the game. I didn't finish the story until maybe 2.5 years after the game came out. I didn't finish map completion until maybe a year ago. I've finally gotten into the living story/expansions. I did the first season of living story when it came out, and I'm so happy I did. I just finished the second season and HoT. I hated HoT when it first came out. I had trouble getting around, the events seemed long and tedious. The gliding was nice, but didn't add as much as I wanted.

But my god, now that I've finished seasons 2 and HoT, I'm attached to all the characters. Braham getting mad at th

I've been substituting for a few years now. I've kind of made a name for myself among the higher ups in the BoE in my county. When they need a long term sub, I'm one of the first people they contact.

Well, for the last two years I've been a long term sub filling in for a teacher who has had a baby, two years in a row. I've been in this room more than she has at this point. Well, she decided she wants to stay home with the baby now, and isn't returning next year.

Last week the principle came to my room and asked if I'm all caught up on my certifications and said that he'll keep my posted for when the spot opens up so I can apply. All the other teachers in the school have just assumed I'm he

My parents are pretty well to do, and in the last few years my mother has continually gotten raises. Its really cool for her because she had to stop working for a while when she got sick.

Well, they took my and my FW to check out some places for the rehearsal dinner. While we were out, they took us to a full on venue. Obviously my FW fell in love with it, and I did too. We talked about it while we were there and my parents offed to pay the full price for it. It included rooms for all the wedding party and anyone else that could fit. It included the reception, decorations, and all the fixens. Even the cake was included. My mother grabbed the estimate for the venue and when she was looking at

I asked a girl today to get into her seat. She just stood there and started talking to another student. So I called her name again and said to please take her seat. She responds with "I AM!" I say "No, you were just standing there, ignoring me." And this is where it get hilarious, she actually says "Well, I was talking to my friends!" Like thats a good reason and not just 10x worse.

Do any of you get these hilariously bad excuses? I feel like a lot of students try to use them.

Teaching Middle school art. I'm having the students start on colleges. I saw a girl just pouring glue down onto her paper. I call her name, our eyes meet, she's still pouring. I say "Stop stop stop stop, you don't need that much!" She looks at me and says okay. She's still pouring. I tell her to stop again. She says okay again, still pouring. I start to get up and she finally stops.

I don't know what it is about today, but every class has been like this. Middle school children should know better than this.

While I'm not married yet, I've been living with my fiancee for a while now and theres one rule I've been using for myself.

If theres something that I don't want to do, like dishes, picking up, cooking dinner, whatever it may be, I think about how much I don't want to do it. Then I think about how much my future wife won't want to do it. Then I do it so she doesn't have to.

I remember the first time I thought about it, and now I think about it every day. It's helped me be less "lazy" and I feel good because I get to see her happy and rested as well.

At level 10 I had just returned to my workshop that was collecting junk for me. I checked the harvester and.. nothing. Empty. That's when I noticed the level 31 player scraping the junk he just took, standing next to his raider power armor.

That's when I realized he must have just taken it.

I pull out my bladed bat, creep up to him. Take a swing and do almost no damage. That's when he left the scrap menu and pulled out his shotgun. As soon as the first bullet hit me, my 8 machine gun turrets take aim.

The level difference here scared me. But with the backup of my turrets, he got scared off and hid around the corner. Forgetting his power armor right next to my turrets. So he either had to

Anyone else love the way it's done? I've got enough Atom for a few skins, just from playing the game. It doesn't feel like a money grab, there's already plenty of skins you can just find while exploring. The items in the Atom shop are just extras and you can look as cool or goofy as you want without having to resort to spending money, unless you want to.

I just got excited the first little achievement popped up with " +10 Atom."

Honestly, all my fears for this game got washed away when I actually got in and started playing. If they keep up support for the game like they say they will, this might be the multiplayer Fallout game I've been waiting for.
