I don't post here often, but I do stop by regularly to read about how everyone is going.

2000 days sober, as of today. It's a huge milestone for me, and I am enormously thankful to be alive, and healthy.

Thanks everyone for being part of this sub, and helping me to stay strong, so that I'm here to share this day with you all.

Apologies for what is probably a dumb question - but I'm old and having trouble figuring out what I'm trying to do here.

Here's the scenario:

I'm a divorced dad with two kids - I have an Xbox Series X, the kids have and Xbox Series X each, and there's a spare Xbox One S that the kids use sometimes.

Two of the consoles travel between my place and their mum's place - so they're not always in the same house - but I want for the kids to have access to the games I've bought them when they're not at my place.

I'm trying to set it up so that all four consoles can share the games that I've bought, without having to buy multiple copies of games so that the kids can play them on their consoles (wh

I realise this doesn't effect many people, but please PLEASE put the old crowd noise back.

The new voice sounded exactly like I was having a psychotic episode - the voice sounds exactly like the one in my head when I am not well, and I was SO scared when I heard it that I thought I was getting sick again.

It was an utterly horrifying experience - It wasn't until I took my headphones off to get to my phone to call an ambulance for help that I realised it was in the game.

I'm sure no one meant any harm... but this was not well thought out and gave me a terrible fright... and I doubt I am the only one this will happen to.

The old crowd noises were fine - that one person screaming like t

Obviously, "Yes - if your health drops to zero"....

But I just won back to back solo matches, started the second match with the crown, but when I won the second match, it was just the normal victory screen - not the golden one.

I watched the replay back to see what happened, and it sounds like there's a 'crown disappearing' sound a few moments before I killed the final opponent - they'd got me down to 0 shields and 35 health.

Edit I've watched the replay back from another angle and when I got hit with a flaming arrow, there's a huge gold halo forms around my head and there's definitely a 'crown disappearing' sound...

Would that be why I didn't get the crown victory royale?

Hi everyone.

I don't post here a lot, but I have spent a lot of time reading your stories, listening and learning along with everyone else how to get on top of the things that are hurting us and ruining our lives,

Today marks 1000 days clean and sober - an achievement I never really believed I would ever be able to reach.

But I did it. I fucking did it!

Thank you all for sharing you stories and for being part of my pathway to get where I needed to be - which saved my life.

I will not drink with you today. Or tomorrow,

Thank you all for your help

(And nevermind what the flair says - I think it's on US time - but it's 14 Feb here, and that means I've hit a milestone that I knew was com

What's up? Hello~! I recently shifted over to Firefox on my Mac, and got RES all set up the way I like it in the new browser. However, during the initial phase of browsing reddit, when the little box popped up saying I needed to allow permission to access Twitter image content, I accidentally hit 'deny' - so now I can't see Twitter images or video from reddit without clicking out to Twitter itself.

i have exhausted my admittedly feeble searching abilities, looking for where / how to change that setting - so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I will be eternally grateful!

Thanking you all in advance for your help!

EDIT - u/tumultuousness has provided a working solution b

I was mid-match just now and the bottom left hand corner was overtaken by a short film, with the sound drowning out all of the game sounds.

Got absolutely minced by someone who was able to run up behind me because I couldn't hear their footsteps over the sound of the film.

I'm sure Epic would like as many people as possible to see the short films that folks have worked hard to produce, but taking up a huge chunk of the screen and drowning out the sound is kind of a dick move...

edit Figured out how to turn it off... there's an option in the main in-game menu to turn off the feed from the Party Royale event. I'll leave the question here in case anyone else has the same issue.
