Hi,
I've got a problem many others have experienced many times - no matter what I do, I can't access my own server.
I'm just watching the week 8 section on PHP web development by Doug, and would very much like to do the practice exercise he suggested. However, as I said, I can't get permission to access my own server pretty much no matter what.
I've googled and looked here, on stackexchange etc, and no solution works. Note that I'm not even attempting the Pset yet - as always, I would like to practice for a bit before getting to that.
Since a lot of previous threads etc on the issue are very old, I figured it would be worth posing this question once more. Staff, anyone: is there a re
First off, I'm sorry for having to ask a question here for the second time in just a few days. I have looked at countless stackoverflow posts, tried what feels ilke an endless amounts of variations on the code, but can not get the code to work.
Quite simply, I'm trying to pop an item off a linked list/stack, as explained by Doug in the week 6 section video. I follow his exact instructions to the letter, yet the code segfaults when I attempt to free the node I'm trying to pop off. Again, I have tried what feels like countless variations, but they all segfault.
The code is as follows:
typedef struct _stack
{
int n;
struct _stack *next;
}
stack;
//Decl
Whenever a new topic is introduced in lecture/section/shorts, I make habit out of reading through Study50 afterwards and coding the practice excercises there.
However, this time, I find myself pretty much stuck. For the first time, even after looking at the staff implementation and checking the answer, I haven't got a clue how it works. Previous lists excercises, while difficult, proved understandable, but here, even if I "draw out" what the code does on a piece of paper, I still don't understand it.
Could someone guide me through it, perhaps?
The code snippet involved is this:
void append(int y)
{
node* app = malloc(sizeof(node));
if (app != NULL)

Dutch coaching legend Guus Hiddink to build soccer center(s) in North Korea
cnbc.com/2015/11/04/guus-hiddink-wants-to-bui...I just read this article (in Dutch, sorry, Belgian source), where Gilbert and Boonen express their concerns over next year's World Championship in Qatar due to the obvious problem with weather concerns.
I thought I'd post this, and see what you guys think, maybe spur on some discussion. This article also mentions that you can't really race properly there as is, as Boonen is noticing in this year's tour of Abu Dhabi.
Others have expressed concerns as well, but state the financial incentives are simply too strong for cycling, a financially weak sport, to pass up on.
My personal opinion is simple and clear: Don't race in Qat
Kris Boeckmans making progress; breathing on his own - still in coma
lottosoudal.be/update-kris-boeckmans/?lang=enCan be found on Spotify and I assume all other streaming services.
It's a very, very strong album. I can find very few things wrong with it, though I think too many songs follow the same structure after a while.
Still, this album is absolutely fantastic. I'm certain it'll find its way to many a best-of list. Damn good music.
Between the new Iron Maiden and this album, today is one hell of a day!
Reported by L'Equipe just now. Dutch source here, since L'Equipe has a paywall and our usual English outlets aren't there quite yet. Will edit an English-language source in as soon as I see one.
Sylvain Chavanel will close out his career at this new team. Thomas Voeckler is apparently staying, as well as sprinter Bryan Coquard (though you never know what might happen).
The team will be sponsored by a yet undisclosed French company, will have 22 riders and a €5.5mln budget.
Say about Europcar what
I couldn't find an English link yet, but here is a Dutch one.

The gist of it is that when they tried to wake him, it turned out that he could not breathe on his own yet due to the fluid in/around (?) his lungs. They'll keep him in coma for at least another week before trying again. He is otherwise stable.
Going to go ahead and assume the no-spoiler rule no longer applies to this situation.
Hope he makes a swift recovery. Just awful.
It was confirmed on Belgian TV during the Vuelta just a minute ago. Apparently the deal will be sealed tomorrow, so an article should pop up then.

What do you guys think?
As seen here. Figured I'd best not make it a link post, though, since it's a Dutch website and I couldn't find an international source quite yet.
The lineup:
- Niki Terpstra (captain)
- Robert Gesink
- Bauke Mollema
- Lars Boom
- Tom Dumoulin
- Sebastian Langeveld
- Dylan Van Baarle
- Jos van Emden
- Pim Ligthart
Tom Dumoulin and Dutch TT champion Wilco Kelderman will ride the Time Trial.
All in all, some surprising names here. Gesink and Mollema normally speaking have no business whatsoever at a race with this profile, and I honestly assume they'll be in a supportive role.
I'm glad t
