So I hope someone can help out for this simple question. Kinda feel silly asking, BUT hubby and I plan on having another babe just not now of course. Little one just turned 6 1/2 months, we switched out level 1’s for 2’s, all is well.

Is it okay, or safe I should say, to keep the nipples to use for the next babe? It may be 18-24 mo from now. Just wasn’t sure since they are rubber, you know?

Thanks in advance!

4 month Regression

Infant 2-12 Months

This regression is some b.s. I am crying internally for myself, my partner and for the babe. I know she not giving me a hard time, she is having a hard time.

We fed, burped, did the “top off” with a little more feeding. Bathed her, using lavender body wash, fresh diaper. Rocked, needed more feeding, fell asleep in our arms. We said: “oh my goodness! Is this it?! Have we cracked a code?!” Nope. Awake after 5 min down in the bassinet. All day it’s been this way. Naps today were only successful in my arms; yes 45 min naps in my arms. This includes a white noise machine and darkened curtains.

Tell me it gets better. Tell me if there is anything I can do. Send help LOL

So my MIL and I do not have a good relationship. She is manipulative, emotionally abusive toward my husband. This is his normal, so he does not see what she does is not motherly. Don’t worry - therapy for us and individually is on the horizon! But boy that fog is thick!

My new problem with her is she is gifting us things that are nice and made by her own two hands. If I reject them I look like an ungrateful a-hole. We came home with a garbage bag full of crotchet hats and booties. She was born going into Summer months! Direct example: she knows our nursery theme is woodland creatures, but bought items that were jungle animals. Fine, I can return and exchange. This one though is needle poin

I was kinda naive and not thinking this all through with the nursery. We have a lil girl, our theme is woodland creatures. I love the curtains we have up, BUT the sun hits her room nearly all day. I did not think this would be an issue- I have since come to my senses lol thankfully still is still sleeping in a bassinet right now…

What blackout curtains can be endorsed? What company did you purchase through that is legit black out or proper for a nursery? Thank you all in advance!

Hi all! I was hoping some parents could offer suggestions for a sling or baby carrier that can offer a hands free option. My babe is only 5 weeks. I am looking for something that is easy to use, nothing that requires me or my husband to tie knots. Uncomplicated and as comfortable as possible for the little one. TYIA!

So my little one is just a little over a month old. Grandmas were pretty much wanting to see them ASAP. Thank goodness for the hospital lockdowns because I am a private person and frankly, that would be overwhelming.

We live one state away (an afternoon drive) and they have been pestering since coming home. I delayed this, because I wanted my husband and I to get a rhythm together and bond with the babe.

Now more pressure. Told my mom she needs a TDAP booster. She told me she checked with her doctor and since she received it less than 10 years ago, she is good to go. She also got the vaccine for Covid.

Are there any other guidelines for safety? I want to wait until little one has their

I kinda just want to cry. I have been having Non Stress Tests every week. Solely because I had high blood pressure (controlled with medication) PRIOR to pregnancy. Not once has my blood pressure increased, always in normal range.

Today the heart rate “dropped” once, the nurse called it an “anomaly”; she made me sit longer to see it if became consistent, about 15 more minutes. That one anomaly was the only one.

They wanted to be precautious, fine. They sent me to ultrasound, that would be rated by points (8 being the highest). Not once has this babe been compliant with ultrasounds, like not turning or moving the way the tech needed her to. This resulted in me needing 3 more AND a referral

So ladies and gents I have to thank you for your help again for the stroller debacle. She wanted all 3 of us (of course why would it NOT include her!) to put it together, nagged until we left “just in case there is something missing”. 👌🏼 I won the war, chose my battles. She was still huffy over not getting what she wanted, so she sat there while SO and I put it together in 10 min. I am sure she wanted us to act like children and beg for help haha. Anyway - to the point - 1- after it was done being assembled, she wanted to push it around the house, while doing that she said loudly “ohhh I am stealing you awayyy!” Like a baby was already in there. I have anxiety about anyone touching my litt

Final Update - Success! We went to a bigger retail store the next afternoon. She was naysaying our chosen stroller the whole time. “This is not a convenient stroller travel system” I quipped back quickly “well I disagree.” It rolled off the tongue and honestly, I was impressed with myself. She moved on to an entirely different stroller from us wanted us to look at that ONE now. It finally clicked for me: she didn’t care about our choice, it’s because it was never hers that was being chosen. She wanted us to look at the one that she literally just found and consider taking it home. She just wants us to choose whatever she wanted. I got impatient at that point. I stopped her and said “no offe

Pretty much the title. This is regarding my mom specifically. I kinda expected her to buy things for the baby that I didn’t ask for because well, that’s her behavior. HOWEVER she was up my butt for me to finish my registry and wanted to be “the first person to see it” and explained “we just want to get you exactly what you want.” So you can say I was looking forward to opening gifts she told me she sent.

I come home to gifts, nothing I registered for or asked for. Except for baby bottles, but they were not the brand or sizes I requested.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but I am looking to be more honest with situations like these and not continue to be a door mat. I also do not want to

So! I am 21+3 right now. Heavy lifting job, dealing directly with Covid+ patients as well. Last OB appointment the Midwife told me she would recommend not lifting anything more than 25 lbs. I kinda chuckled because 25 lbs is easily one or two bags at work, not including having to possibly carry patients out of their homes. OB offered to provide a note to put me on light duty. I declined - then yesterday I became out of breath and felt abdominal twinges all day. Told my boss, my OB is going to be putting me on light duty. He repeatedly asked me why “unless she is just one of those doctors...” and he trailed off. I don’t believe your job has any right to ask why, correct?? Any help is good h

Hi everyone! Proud to be among you all! Gonna be 10 weeks soon, and surprisingly my belly is more distended that I thought it would be at this point!
Suffice to say, my jeans are uncomfortable and loving my stretch pants that are boot cut/flare even more now. Where do you get your pants that are relatively inexpensive? I love my Simply Vera boot cut stretch pants from Kohl’s, for example. I just don’t want to look like I am a hot ass mess, even if that’s how I feel right now lol. TYIA!

Update: I have an appointment for this Tuesday now, soonest they could get me in. Fingers and toes crossed that this issue will be just like all of your experiences! Thank you again, to all you ladies- for sharing, for support, for reassuring and giving some self-love advice. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that! Hugs!

So I am obviously newly pregnant, just had nausea/vomiting a couple days ago. Then yesterday, I started bleeding. It’s bright blood, no clots. I immediately freaked out, googled a lot and talked myself down. Today, it continues. Some dark brown, but mainly bright blood. No cramping/pain in the lower abdomen.

Please share with me, please tell me that this happened with someo
