Faculty has been instructed to submit plans on how to change their lessons to remote methods to their department by 3/18, and are to be ready to begin teaching remotely beginning 3/23. The official announcement has not been made but Rutgers is preparing to make the move online. We love to shit on Rutgers but I don’t believe this situation is like anything they’ve had before and they’re moving quickly to act appropriately. Also shoutout to all the professors who are being lenient this week with attendance and ensuring students they will not be negatively impacted if they stay home.

I took calc 135 in the summer, worked really hard, but failed atrociously due to anxiety during the exam. (43 on Exam 1, 6x on Exam 2.) I withdrew before taking the final. This semester I didn’t go to a single calculus lecture and just took the quizzes/exams based on what I learned in the summer but this time taking propanalol before exams and receiving extra time for the anxiety, and did ridiculously better. (95 on exam 1, 68 on exam 2, 92 on final).

It isn’t a copout excuse if anxiety really effects you and your abilities with test taking. I’m not saying if you should or shouldn’t take medication, but at the least the test taking accommodations at Rutgers can make all the difference in th

It is so unclear and I cannot find any information on the departments website, I call the department at least once a day and nobody answers, and my professor isn’t even entirely sure.

I understand the rule if you fail calculus 135 or 151 (possibly other calc courses as well) than you are not allowed to retake it a third time. If you withdraw the second time and receive a W, then does that count as one of your two chances still?

I took 30mg Adderall XR every day until May 18th, then switched to 30mg Vyvanse once daily up to including June 3rd which is the day I took the drug test. Somehow my drug screening came up negative. My psychiatrist didn’t refill my prescription because she’s suspicious as hell and thinks I’m selling it. I retook the drug test and all should be fine once the results come back, but I can’t wrap my mind around what could have possibly caused a false negative. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I just found this sub and it seems everyone is getting advice and feedback from their dentists..

I am on tray 12/28 and my dentist has never contacted me, asked me how the treatment is going or anything. When I go in, the receptionist gives me 2-3 new trays and I make a payment. That’s that, otherwise I haven’t seen a dentist since she put the buttons on.

I went on vacation for about 9 days and actually forgot my trays (like even the one I was currently on because I left immediately after brushing my teeth). Even when I came in to get new trays almost 2 weeks late, they didn’t ask any questions just asked for payment and gave me the next trays.

This all seems very strange t
