There's been a couple of posts on this already, but I kinda want to broach this topic from another angle, specifically one that I think is a more general commentary on today's society.

To review: man mistakenly sends cum message to lady, meant for someone else, apologizes, lady extorts man for charitable donations, then #cancels him anyway, man loses job.

Both sides here and here.

Here's my question: Why is it that we are now at the point, where awkward social situations are being transforme

#Official Moderation Policy

A good moderation system is like a good sewer system: if it's working, you shouldn't know about it. Recently, users on this subreddit have expressed concern over the direction the sub is taking. That means we're not doing our job. We will inform you of what the goal of this sub is, and how we will achieve them.

##Our Goal

Many left subreddits and left circles are not enjoyable places. They can be frustrating, draining, and sometimes abusive. They fail to educate or persuade curious visitors. They are alienating to working class people, who are rarely 'woke'.

As this sub reaches another milestone, now is the time to not only appreciate the journey, but the real treasure: the friends we made along the way. As they say, "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out". Big shout-out to our new found friends, who were there in our time of need:

This is a bit of an experiment. Let's see how it goes.

Basically: post your position on immigration politics. Vote up ones you like. Vote down ones you don't like.

There's been a number of threads about this topic, in one way or another, since the Nagle article. This has spawned a couple of claims, by visitors to this sub (or people outside it), about the audience of this subreddit, and what our intentions are.

I'd like to do this pseudo-survey, to get some empirical data on the posters here, where we all stand, what different tendencies exist in this sub, and where that puts us in relation to other subs. That way, you can link this thread to anyone who might be curious about who we are.
