I've been trying to fix this for months now but the problem makes absolutely no sense. I've reset everything multiple times, unlinked and relinked services to Google Home app, etc.

My Google Home refuses to answer commands like "turn on/off the lights" and "turn on/off the bedroom/living room lights". I always get "Sorry, I am unable to process your request" as an answer. Commands like "Turn on/off the lamps", "dim the lights to 50%" or "set the scene to Savanna" work fine and are processed instantly. I get the exact same behaviour when I type the commands in the Google Assistant on my phone.

If I try turning off the lights using my "Good night" routine (I do this in the 'adjust the lights

I absolutely love the Gauntlet. It's challenging and I think the mechanics are amazing but when comparing this to other PvM content, the shitty gp/hr could make this content obsolete very fast. I understand they don't want to make just another Vorkath or Zulrah but the difference is just too big.

The Gauntlet, even the non-corrupted version, is way harder than Vorkath. Vorkath:

  • Doesn't require offensive or defensive prayer switching, the Gauntlet does
  • Has a clear animation/projectile for when prayers are turned off, the Gauntlet does not
  • Requires no attack counting, the Gauntlet requires this for both your and the bosses attacks
  • Requires little to no movement, the Gauntlet requires

I've been thinking about buying a VR headset for quite some time but for the PCVR headsets I'd have to buy a new PC (while my old one is still fine for everything except VR). That would drive up the total price by a factor of 4 or 5 compared to the Oculus Quest, but I'm willing to do it if it's really that much better.

My main concern about the Quest is its refresh rate. How noticable is it? For someone who has only 144hz monitors, is it going to be a problem? Or is VR refresh rate not comparable to monitor refresh rate? For reference, the 2 VR sets I've tried before are PSVR and Gear VR. I was blown away by the PSVR, but the Gear VR didn't convince me. I've also heard a lot of people that

On March 26th, Lenovo made a BIOS update available, version 8JCN50WW.

When going into the advanced BIOS settings, there's an option to enable 'Discrete Tunderbolt(TM) Support'. When enabled, there's a bunch of other options. I enabled some of them, but I'm not an expert at this and would rather not enable things of which I don't know the use case. After a restart, it's clear that something changed about the port, but I don't know if it's for the better since I can no longer connect an external screen to the USB-C port. Also, when the Thunderbolt option is enabled in BIOS, a yellow triangle app

Finally got myself a Hue starter kit yesterday. They are amazing and setup was pretty easy... Until I tried to add them in the Google Home app.

I tried setting them up the standard way in the Home app by going to Add --> Set up device --> Have something already set up? --> Philips Hue. Then it redirects me to the Hue website and prompts me to allow Google to control my Hue devices. When I click "Allow", I'm taken back to the Google Home app, specifically the device setup page. It loads/spins for a couple of seconds and then it just does nothing. Nothing is changed inside the app and when asking my Google Home to turn off the lights it says no lights are connected. I want to install smart lighting in a room where the following lights are currently installed:

After researching a bit, I think they're called G23 bulbs but I haven't been able to find any 'smart' variants. Do G23 Smart Bulbs exists? If not, is there a way to install other types of lighting that won't require to much fiddling with the existing light fitting?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop around the €1000 mark for university. I'll be doing mainly programming stuff (IDE's like visual studio + compiling), video streaming, light gaming and light video editting.

I'm looking for something that can handle itself with medium games and doesn't become a pain to use when doing a lot of programming and compiling at the same time. Probably a 1050 or 1050 Ti. A 1060 seems overkill and seems to drive up the price a lot. Also, it seems to have a big influence on the battery. 8GB of RAM is fine, but 12/16GB would be even better.

The problem with the laptops I'm looking at is the battery life. They all seem to have around 4-5 hours and while it's not terribl

I'm a student going to university next month and I've been looking for lights to power my dorm room with smart lighting. It's a +-20m² room with what looks like a lightcluster with 3 spots for normal E27 lighting but I can't confirm it right now.

I was wondering what the differences between these lighting systems were, especially:

  • How many lights of how many Lumen would I need to light the room? There is a lightcluster (located in the centre) that can hold 3 lights and I was wondering if 3 Xiaomi Yeelights (close to eachother) at 800lm would be enough. Ikea has lights up to 980lm, is the 180lm difference noticeable?

  • Philips Hue seems rather expensive, what is it that you get for payin

I was wondering if the Spinnin Sessions sets in the Rose Garden have been recorded? I loved the sets by LVNDSCAPE, Mike Williams, Lucas & Steve,... and would love to watch/listen to them again but I can't find them at all. Any chance there are videos or audio recordings?

I've been reading an incredible amount of people blaming the devs for the recent exchange problems. People are spreading FUD and Kucoin putting out false statements isn't helping either. Let's remember Nanex, CoinFalcon, BrainBlocks, LuckyNano, the wallets and pretty much every other service is working absolutely fine.

Kucoin's statement "Due to bad XRB (NANO) network conditions we have decided to temporarily close all withdrawals and deposits for XRB." is 100% bullshit. I don't know of any other way to put it. It's bullshit. Nano is doing 1tx/s at the moment and exchanges like Nanex and CoinFalcon are working just fine. Kucoin is using the recent uncertainty to blame Nano and the Nano dev

Most of the information I can find is pretty outdated so I figured I'd ask here. Could someone provide a rough ETA? If not, what is the development status of Grin? What is done and what needs to be done in order for it to be ready for release?

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but I've never came across anything while searching Google.

Basically, you can call the API on your Google Home to get info about things like alarms in JSON format. For example, I'll use this to display current alarms and timers on a screen in the same room as the Google Home.

How to do it: First you'll need to find the IP address of your Google Home. You can use something like Fling (Android app) for this or just log in to your router. Then make a simple GET call like this: http://192.168.X.XX:8008/setup/assistant/alarms. Change 192.168.X.XX to your IP.

This will give a response like this:

{"alarm":[{"date_pattern":{"day":15,"month":1,"year":20

What an amazing project this is. I bought in a little bit at 1.3$ when I saw some Reddit post but decided to buy more now.

I still have a few questions:

  • Circulating supply is almost 32 million while the total supply is arround 133 million. Are they currently being released and how?
  • What is the role of nodes ?

2 days ago I tried to buy bitcoin on AnyCoinDirect.eu in order to put those on BitGrail and buy Rai. They held my order for no reason even though they did receive my payment and since then the price of Rai has nearly doubled. I can't tell you how pissed I am since I told nearly everyone I know that this was going to happen in the next few days but I couldn't get in.

Anyway, I'm still very much a believer in Rai. The technology behind it is unlike anything I've ever seen and I think this price rise is only the beginning so while I wait for this order to process, I'm simply going to buy more but on a different site. I was wondering if it is possible to buy one of the altcoins BitGrail has, tr
