Hi fellow short humans! I'm a 4' 11.5" pharmacy intern/student about to go into my final year of rotations this summer and I have suddenly outgrown all of my professional clothes (mainly pants)! I'm sort of on a time crunch with everything being closed because of COVID (walked into a H&M the other day to find their fitting room was closed!) and school starting up again soon and not having another true break before my rotations begin. All of my dress pants in the past I've had to get hemmed but i'm not sure if my local seamstress is even open right now so I'm wondering where you guys would shop for professional/dress pants that wouldn't have to be hemmed? I tried on a pair of 10 "Short" A

Hi all!

I'm currently looking for a decent laptop to replace my HP Envy that just had a hinge break on me. I'll be using it for school primarily, but my boyfriend has gotten me into starting to play some games so I want something that can handle that as well! Since my Envy couldn't handle gaming, I've been borrowing his Cyberpower gaming laptop that has an i7 and (i think) a GTX 1070, for games like Civ, Fallout 4, diablo 3, and minecraft. I hope to be able to branch out into other games as well once I have my own gaming laptop.

I'm basically stuck between:

  • HP omen 15 with Ryzen 7 4800H, GTX 1660ti, 144hz IPSscreen, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD: $1249 normal, $1049 on sale today. https://www.be

Hey Y'all, greetings from the toilet on this fine morning! I just finished my 2nd fleet enema in preparation for a flex sigmoidoscopy later this morning and I was thinking, there's so many different colonoscopy preps out there.. what have all of your experiences been? Which prep was the worst, which one do you prefer? This is my 2nd sigmoidoscopy and I've had one full colonoscopy and I've found personally i've found the enemas to be the worst, but the miralax wasn't too bad. Have any of you tried any of the ones that you get a prescription for like suprep, clenpiq, Golytely, or Gavilyte? Are they better/worse than the plain miralax?

Hi guys! I'm new here and i'm just starting to try to understand my condition & had a few questions! I've just started seeing my 3rd GI doc in the past 3 years. Doc #1 said all my symptoms were because of my birth control and i was fine (it wasn't and i'm). Doc #2 gave me mesalamine (Lialda) but never told me I had a diagnosis and never told me to follow up so I haven't been back in 2 years. (I found out last month by looking at medical records that she diagnosed me with Ulcerative Proctitis). I've been on mesalamine 1.2g 2 tabs daily for 2 years with no results. My new GI said "the dose you're on is kind of like pissing in the ocean" so he already doubled it to 4 a day & gave me a p

Anyone who wears american eagle jeans could you give me some guidance? I'm 4' 11.5" and about 125lbs, and a majority of my weight is in my hips/thighs. My hips are wide compared to my waist and between that and my height i've always had trouble finding jeans that fit. About 2 years ago I got 3 pairs from American Eagle - Size 6 Short: one was Super Super Stretch, and the others were Ne(x)t level. I just realized this month that the only one of those 3 that still fits is the Super Super stretch (which of course no longer exists) but the other ones I can't even get passed my thighs! I'm interested in their XSHORT jeans since my short ones I still have to roll up, but I'm not sure about the st

I went to the dentist today and although i don't mind going, i'm always really nervous because ever since i got my braces in 2012 i've had new cavities at almost every 6month visit .(I never had any before braces despite drinking soda almost exclusively.) I was a little worried going in today but i had no new cavities!!

Has anyone who is receiving a merit scholarship as a continuing student had their scholarship posted to their award letter yet? I have had the Scarlet Scholarship the past 2 years, and I emailed financial aid a few weeks back when the award letters came out bc it wasn't there and they said they were aware of an issue where scholarships weren't showing up on the term bills and to be patient, but it still hasn't shown up so i'm wondering if it has posted for anyone else?

So this year i was thinking of trying to get into richardson apartments on busch after being in BEST the last 2 years, but i was hoping i would be able to get in the same apartment as my boyfriend (i'm a girl) and have us in one room and 2 other roommates in the other room. From searching online it looks like apartment housing falls under gender neutral and this would be okay as long as we knew the other 2 people and went in as a group of 4. Does anyone have any past experience with doing this, or housing giving anyone difficulty doing something like this? I just want to be sure they won't give us any issues before we go about trying to find 2 other roommates. Thank you for any input!!
