Getting married (both 30) in Tuscany this Summer with the honeymoon right after, and wanted some advice on our itinerary (total ~3wks). Starting to get worried about Jubilee and summer crowd/heat timing, but can't change that now so just trying to make it work and avoid worst of it.

Generally, we prefer to avoid the big cities and enjoy walking around smaller/medium-sized ones and visiting more nature-focused locations (we'll still hit the big cities, but quickly and with a more packed agenda just to hit the "must-sees"). Flying into Florence, out of Rome.

Any and all advice/suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

6/22-6/26: Florence - maybe a day trip somewhere, but this is b

6/5/22 - applied

3/5/23 - called at 9 months to escalate

3/31/23 - conditionally approved

4/28/23 - interview (used a free text notification system to let me know when there was an opening)

5/1/23 - approved! Waiting on card to come in the mail

I tried calling to escalate at the 6.5 month mark because the original range was 4-6 months, but they told me it was extended to 7-9 months and to call back after that.

Not sure why it took so long to get conditionally approved. I had TSA pre-check when I applied.
