Trying to build a poison/crit blade flurry shadow that uses daggers.

I'm trying to use Path of Building to plan out my entire character before I spend any skill points in the game so I don't make any mistakes.

Since the optimal build depends heavily on whether I am using a shield or not I need to figure that out first.

There are so many variables I'm having trouble deciding and wondering if someone else can lay out all the pros and cons for me.

If I swap my offhand for a shield I lose 25% of my dps, probably so high because I was planning on taking Twin Terrors which adds 14% dps on its own.

The benefits of blocking are of course modified by whether I take Acrobatics. It's 5 points to g

Right now I'm using Viper Strike because that's all I have. I'm trying to optimize my character with Path of Building (only level 12 so maybe a bit premature) and assuming I am using Viper Strike. One obvious problem I have is that if I change my skill later all my calculations are ruined.

So I'd like to know now or at least a sense of what the best shadow poison skills are. I assume Viper Strike is out because it's single target (or maybe keep it for bosses? Though sockets becomes a problem). I assume with Poison Support I can pretty much use any skill? Which doesn't help narrow it down.

I was thinking Whirling Blades might be useful because it's a movement skill and I used Cyclone befor

What is the difference in these for increasing poison damage?

It seems like since poison damage is always a % of the physical hit, then it is strictly better to stack Increased Physical Damage since it will increase both the physical hit and the poison damage proportionately?

Is there any multiplicative interaction here? For example if I have +100% Increased Physical Damage and +100% Increased Damage Over Time and I hit for 100 damage and poison is 8% of physical, that means I hit for 200, so poison is 16dps, then boosted by +100% DoT to 32dps? Or is it additive, so just 24dps?

Basically trying to decide the best path from Coordination to Fangs of the Viper? I can either get 8% pdmg or 10

I have a witch in Cruel difficulty and right now my biggest struggle is staying alive in long fights where I'm taking constant damage. My energy shield won't regenerate when I'm taking constant damage so I have to run out of the fray and wait a few seconds before diving back in. This is low and tedious and doesn't always work if the arena is small or I'm being chased by fast/teleporting monsters.

The way I see it is I have two options:

  • Ghost Reaver + Life Leech

  • Zealot's Oath + Stone Golem

The former will cost me 1 skill point and 1 support skill gem. The latter will cost me 8 skill points. I'll probably never find a 6L as I play SSF and currently using a 4L with Spark+LitPen+Pierce+E

I like the crafting shortcuts and the praise shortcut, they reduce a lot of unnecessary tabbing.

Another thing that would help greatly is a shortcut for trading for titanium. Trading for titanium is something most people do most of the game. it is kind of annoying when you want to grind out a few dozen structures and have to trade to max titanium in between each one.

Not sure when new version went in as changelog has not been updated since Mar 20.

  • Jobs > "Free kittens:0/210" is missing a space after the colon

  • Engineer tooltip no longer shows craft time in seconds EDIT: It eventually showed I'm not sure what I did to make it appear but it wasn't at first EDIT 2: when I craft a new resource for the first time it doesn't show and seems to take a few minutes before it shows. Switching tabs and coming back to Workshop seems to fix it.

First time I got chronophysics I forgot to craft any blueprints so when I reset I hit a wall as soon as I got to the first blueprint tech, and had to dip into my limited compendium reserve to get over it.

Second reset I jus completely forgot to get the workshop upgrade that enables saving craftable resources, and now it's taking me several days to recover because of that. I wish I had just backed up my save and I could have saved myself a bunch of time. No ships, no kerosene, no compendiums, no blueprints, no steel, no gears, no alloy, no eludium, nothing :(

I naturally have a +947% craft ratio. Why would I spend 25 of my 238 precious paragon for another +25? From forum history it looks like the bonus is additive not multiplicative which makes it very underwhelming and underpowered. I was excited to get this almost but then stopped and did my research and decided it's a scam.

Just like my complaint about quarries, getting an additive bonus this late in the game for this price is simply not worthwhile. The bonus should really be multiplicative to be useful!

I have 239 paragon and have unlocked 3 of the 5 price ratio upgrades. I've just about capped out my run with 274 paragon points pending. just going to grind out another dozen mansions or more.

My unicorn production is pretty good I've been building it up just out of a lack of anything better to do. According to my stats I earn 2204 tears per hour and 177 alicorns per day. My 125% faith bonus helped a lot.

From reading the wiki it looks like I have a lot of steps left to use time crystals. To research Tachyon Theory, I need a relic, and the only way to get a relic is by trading with leviathans, but first I need to research Megolomania, build markers, convert unicorns to necrocorns, which ta
