Do you like Warhammer? Boy I fell deep into this rabbit hole!! I've been collecting war cry minis for age of sigmar for the better part of COVID and have only been able to play war cry a handful of times. Is anyone interested in joining me for some skirmish games?

This company is prolific in their advertising and reach but all I've heard are horror stories from fellow practitioners that got roped into working for them. They are 1099, meaning no benefits for clinicians and don't pay for non direct care (which is a lot of work that clinicians have to do). They expect all clinicians to have absurd caseloads (20-30 patients a week). They break a TON of ethical guidelines on a consistent basis. Let alone the whole ease of access pitch they have for patient end is wrecking the therapist side as a profession. It's a shit show and i just really want someone to point it out besides the poor clinicians who have been dragged into it.

I'm about 16000 words in and it's grooving. I always hate what I wrote but this time it is clicking. I have cause and effect, multiple actions, and moderately relatable if not likeable characters. It's no work of art but it feels good to not despise my creation.

I keep reading all these amazing novels and want to write the next great american piece of literature. However, everytime I go to sit and write all that pours out is shitty poetry and prose that makes my grandma reconsider her life choices. How can I write so the average consumer gets hooked and not just my English professors? Also, I don't actually want to do the work of writing it and editing it down. That's what agents and editors are for!

I felt like I had to share this with someone and this is such a positive spot I figure why not. So since covid happened in March I have both gained weight and stopped pursuing creative outlets. In August I rejoined my gym and started working out again. Well that's been going fine. Seeing strength gains and such but not really weight loss. I haven't touched a paper (I used to write a lot) or edited a video (I made short films) until today!

Today I started intermittent fasting, cardio exercises, and edited and uploaded my first video!! It's not much, but boy does it feel good. Actually the video itself may be a bit cringy but hey! I'm being kind to myself and just putting it out

Hey friends! Idk of this is the best place to post but thought I'd shoot my shot. I'm a local (now) and am 24. I went to wm then got a job in the area in the mental health field. I've been here about a year after a brief stint in AmeriCorps and had friends from college and such but many of them have moved. Now I'm aloneish and am trying to branch our my friend circle which is v hard during a pandemic. I'd love to meet fellow you g professionals in the area. I say under 30 as I've found many ppl older have v established lives and families that take priority, which is totally fine and I'd still love to be your friend but know it may be more difficult to connect over things.

I think, and I may be buying into the discussion too much and over analyzing and critiquing and reflecting wayyyyy too much. But wow. If this isn't the best story I've played through I don't know what is. The ending when Ellie just sits and plays the song Joel played for her but can't hit all the strings and it's just a bit broken but still beautiful... Like goddamn that got the water works going for me. And!!!! I might add, it still carries the weight of the title so well for the story it tells. I truly loved this game and it out does the first in my book. Naughty dog, you devil you, you ruined my heart once again.
