My friends and I have fallen in love with Old World, but we're struggling to play multiplayer games because my persistent server does not persist game sessions any time the process is restarted.

Looking for direct input from the development team or anyone who has succeeded in implementing a robust persistent server for Old World.

Use case

I want to host a game of Old World on a dedicated server so that I can play the game with others synchronously or asynchronously without interruption.

Expected behaviour

When I create a game session on my Old World persistent server and the server process stops, once the server restarts it should automatically resume any previously hosted game

Shout out to warn prospective customers about a little white lie Lenovo makes in how it is marketing the new 2024 Lenovo Slim 7i gen 9 laptop.

I'm in Canada and have been experiencing issues connecting to WiFi 6E on the 6 GHz band with two new Lenovo Slim 7i (14", gen 9) laptops ordered direct from Lenovo. I have done nearly everything a customer can realistically do to find a solution.

6 GHz networks are simply not visible to the Lenovo Slim 7i despite having all network adapter settings correctly configured for the 6GHz band. All my other non-Lenovo devices connect to WiFi 6E networks just fine (Galaxy S23+, S24 Ultra, Tab S9, other laptops, etc.), but these Lenovos can't even see them.

This guide will help you configure automatic Dynamic DNS (DDNS) records updates based on your WAN IP for DNS records hosted by Cloudflare or any DNS service provider supported by OpenDNS' DNS-O-Matic service by configuring the native DDNS settings in the UniFi Network Application on your UniFi OS device.

These instructions should work with most of Ubiquiti's UniFi OS devices including the UniFi Dream Machine (UDM), UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro), UniFi Dream Machine SE (UDM-SE), and UniFi Dream Router (UDR). This guide was written and tested on a UDM-SE running UniFi OS v3.1.16 and UniFi Network Application v7.5.187.

I am a Todoist Pro subscriber and last year enabled two-way integration with Google Calendar. It has worked well from the start and I have not made any changes in Todoist or GCal recently.

Yesterday, through no action of my own, Todoist added 68 new tasks for recurring Google Calendar events that happened in the distant past. For example, today I have been reminded at different times by Todoist to attend college courses from the program I graduated from 12 years ago. While amusing, the reminders have been buzzing me constantly and have cluttered up my inbox as some of them look similar to tasks I use today. None of the newly, incorrectly synced events are still ongoing in Google Calendar an

I was really confident in this game early on. Able to get off a couple of good arrows while playing support/roamer, but as soon as we hit midgame it all fell to pieces. They did have a better lategame lineup but I am having trouble figuring out why we couldn't convert our advantage into objectives earlier.

Would anyone be willing to take a quick look at the replay?

Speaking for myself, I constantly hover over usernames in a futile attempt to find out what gives them their charge. For a while I thought it was karma level, which would be cool, but alas, it is not.

I submit that the tag image be angled a bit so it looks more like a label and less like a AA battery. Or, alter the tag image slightly in some other fashion. I believe it is a fairly minor UI change overall, but it might be interesting to discuss the ramifications as they pertain to the minimalist RES aesthetic.

If nobody else agrees, then I am an idiot and this post may be disregarded. Thank you for your time.

I'm terrible at managing my time and am always late for appointments. Also, I accept event invitations and then cancel last-minute when I realize I never actually wanted to go.

My habits manifested themselves on the weekend in spectacular fashion when I arrived four hours late for my own party. Everyone was asking where I was, but then they realized it was easier to assign me my own time zone. I now operate under BST, which is always four hours behind everyone else.

Users of Reddit, are you reliable? Has anything good ever come out of being late?

I've been building a team of Germans but am getting a bit stuck. I prefer Bundesliga players but I do have Klose in the subs and generally he's very dependable so it's hard to want to get rid of him.

My left side and defense are lacking and I've found it difficult to find quality. Any suggestions? Metzelder might need to be sold because he's awfully slow and gets blown past rather often so I draw cards with him, but otherwise he does well.

I am bad at trading and my profit is -50,000, so I am poor and buy budget players. Reus was a good deal at 13.5k when I bought him. Trading advice would be appreciated too.
