Every time I use Google Maps there is at least one instance where the map just freezes and I can't navigate. Not only that but everything else on my device seems to slow down when the mini floater is active. This is even worse when a messenger chat head is floating along with it. This was also the case on my previous Galaxy S6. I don't understand why this application performs so poorly on flagship hardware. Is there any way to fix this?
Before anything I want to acknowledge that this is completely my fault and my mistake.
I signed up for a trial of Gsuite in 2016, got my email working, and forgot about it.
Today, I wanted to use my email again and decided to log back in Gsuite. Not surprisingly, my trial has ended so I paid the $5 for a subscription.
Then here's where I screwed up: I got frustrated getting my email to work:
- The admin console was extremely slow and difficult to use
- I followed the troubleshooting steps, and the MX records were set properly (and has been for over a year)
- Couldn't find any other help pages and didn't feel like contacting support.
So I decided to cancel and use a different provide
What I think happened: I scraped the curb while parking yesterday morning while driving to work. I wasn't aware of any damage, so I drove home that evening. I heard some noise while pulling into my home, but wasn't able to fully check since it had been raining hard all day. Look at it this morning and saw this.
Waze tries to take me on an express road on my commute that costs over $4 per use. I don't want to disable all tolls because I use a different tool to get home.
I registered a bunch of domain names last year for random projects, and I was going to let them expire this year. A few days ago, namecheap slapped me with a bill for an email service on all of those domains that were going to expire. I never used the email service on any of those domains, and I felt that it was odd to be charged for another year right before they were going to expire. I had a chat with their support and they basically told me that they were not going to refund the charges:

Then the rep disconnected.
Is there anything I can do at this point to get my money back?
EDIT: I tried the web chat again, since Namecheap had no support number. This
I am developing an iOS application where a requirement is for the user to view a known set of videos locally and without streaming. Because the videos do not live on a server of any kind on the internet, the files must be included with the app when installed.
The application will not be distributed on the app store, and will probably be distributed by some enterprise means (Airwatch, Apperian, etc). I am not yet sure which.
I am currently storing the videos under the app bundle's resources. I do not think this is sustainable because the size of all the videos will eventually be too large (we are thinking 10s of gigs).
What should I do?
Scenario: After a long flight, I call a lyft to get from the airport to my house. As soon as I get matched, the lyft driver calls me and asks where I'm going. When I tell them the location (not towards downtown, but towards a suburb) they immediately get rude and make up an excuse about why they can't come (in traffic, on the toilet, problem with the app) and request that I cancel.
This has happened multiple times, and has put me at risk for incurring cancelation fees. I have emailed Lyft several times about this, but I always get a canned response asking for the driver's details.
I do not have these details, because the Lyft app does not keep a record of canceled rides. I never write do
My organization recently started transitioning to feature teams (comprised of team members from different component teams). The main reason for the transition is to avoid dependencies between the component teams (e.g., frontend team waiting for the services team or ui/ux team).
However, there are still dependencies amongst team members (frontend development cannot be completed before the ux is finished).
I couldn't find a convincing answer online or offline about how feature teams improve parallel work (since these dependencies between components still exist). I think I am misunderstanding something about the true advantages of feature teams vs component teams in Agile.
