Was looking at this laptop--Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E545 15.6-Inch Laptop--but was concerned about some bad reviews.

Our friend's small pet had to be euthanized while they were away. The vet gave us a little memorial plaque with the pet's footprints and name pressed into it. We want to send the plaque to the owners of the pet, but we'd like to replicate it first so that we may use the plaque as part of a gravestone. My question is, how do I best go about this without damaging the original in any way? The original appears to be made of polymer clay itself, though I can't be certain about that. I thought maybe I'd use the same color (terra cotta) polymer clay, press it in, pull it out and bake it, the repeat the process to get my copy. But I'm afraid to risk somehow messing up the original. Should I spray ve

Does anyone here know? Do we pee it out? Poop it out? Sweat it out? Or does it actually "burn" and sort of disappear from our bodies as it's used?

I'm thinking of trying it. I understand that it consists of little or no carbs and 90% fat. I'm wondering what that entails specifically. I get a good deal of my fats from dairy, but there are small amounts of carbs there. Has anyone tried a fat fast here? What did you eat? Did you still use EZ Sweets or the like? Were you able to stave off hunger? Did it break your plateau? Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks for all the input. I had no idea that a fat fast would be so unpleasant, but it does make sense that it is. I think I'll hold off until I've exhausted all the other alternatives. The plateau post suggests that since I'm still losing inches, it's not a plateau I'm on. So maybe I just need

Wow. What a week. Soon after I posted here last week, our mountains quite literally exploded. By the end of Sunday, 10,000 people, including my family and I, had been evacuated. I've been through a lot of things in my life, but I doubt anything will ever compare to the feeling of running from that raging monster fire.

Most of us are back in our homes, save for the unfortunate ones who lost theirs. Everything is a mess, but I am infinitely grateful that my family is safe and we still have our home. The fire isn't out yet - we're still on alert - but it is getting closer to contained everyday. As long as these winds stay lo

...but I'm sticking with it.

The town where I live is in a state of emergency. Here is a post I made about it: http://www.reddit.com/r/reddit.com/comments/i3gmw/thousands_evacuated_from_southeastern_arizona/

Just wanted you to know why I haven't been around here much this past week. In all of this, I am still doing keto without much effort. And I'm so addicted to this place that I find myself wishing I could sit and visit a bit. But we're real busy out here, so I can't stay. We'll see if stress brings me more or less weight loss. ;)

See you when this is over.

I hit another bit of a plateau about a week ago. I've stopped worrying too much about them because I've seen that in the long run, they pass. However, I have implemented a few changes that I'm hoping will help.

Three (or maybe four) days ago, I began watching my calories more closely and I lowered my portion sizes. Yesterday, I stopped consuming alcohol. (I was drinking a little vodka in diet soda most evenings before.) And today, I went nuts with the water. Hit three liters, headed for four.

Now, I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for this, but over these three or four days, I have gained weight. Almost five pounds. Most notably, I gained almost two of those pounds in the c

Doing keto since April 4, and have lost 24.4 pounds! (Down to 263.6 from 288.) I've been lurking here for a couple of months and really appreciate all the positive comments and truly useful information. Recipes too! So today I signed up for an account so I can say hi and upvote, etc.

I wish I had bookmarked the post, but a little while back, someone was having trouble with a plateau in their weight loss. I was too. It lasted for weeks, and I virtually never went over on my carbs during that time. Someone posted a comment about possibly taking in too many calories to create a deficit. Until I read that, it had not occurred to me. I just ate as much as I wanted - which was often more th
