I have a 3rd gen 4Runner and I need to find a shop that can balance my wheels. For those unaware, 4Runner wheels are lug-centric, which means shops need special equipment to balance. My current shop looks at me like an idiot when I tell them this and then they proceeded to mess up the job twice. Any suggestions?
So I want to build something that combines compression, aliasing/bitcrushing, modulation, and a filter. Some of this will involve signal splitting and blending. Many of the layouts and schematics I find have a buffer stage. I know I should include some amplification for splits and blends but do I need to include the input buffers that may be present on each stage or can I omit them? Can power conditioning be done once for multiple circuits? Considering that space will be an issue with such a design, I would like to have a better idea of what I can consolidate.
I've noticed that with my Thermae that the clean signal is very quiet. The volume of the whole mix seems to go down when I turn the mix not know down, not just the proportions of wet to dry. Even with the mix knob all the way down I don't get the full volume of the signal. The volume of the repeats is so much louder than the dry signal that it makes it impractical to use for a lot of stuff that I play. Has anyone had this issue? Do I have a faulty unit ? Is there some secret setting I don't know about to adjust this? Is this a buffering issue?
I need to buy a vehicle and buying in Texas seems to be where I will have the most options for what I want. What should I expect? Am I better off just waiting for what I want to become available in Louisiana?
