I have run into an issue where variables assigned in a class method's if/else block throw the error "Variable is not assigned in the method." even though it clearly is. This error is thrown in both ISE and VSCode, as well as when actually trying to run the code. I originally tested in PowerShell 5.1, but it also looks to be present in 7.2.2.

Any idea if this is a bug, known or otherwise?

class testclass{

    testmethod(){
        #variable defined in method
        $testvariable = "test"

        #$variable defined in method, but in an if statement
        if($true){
            $testvariable2 = "test2"
        }

        #works as expected

I have been running Nicehash Quickminer very passively on a spare PC with some of my old GPUs (2080, 1070). This has worked well without much intervention required after dialing in the Core/Memory/Power.

I have a Gigabyte 3080 OC Gaming in my (relatively) newly built gaming PC that I wanted to start dabbling with again. I tried this a while back, but got scared when my VRAM was staying above 100°C. I've got the Quickminer going again, and I'm seeing some weird behavior.

I started out with Nicehash's recommended settings of -150 Core/+900 Mem/220W. Everything works fine and I'm able to keep temps around 92-96°C on memory, but I'm getting pretty poor mining results, at about 72MH/s. I've adj

I am fortunate enough to live at and be moving to an apartment complex that is serviced by both AT&T and Xfinity Gigabit Fiber. I have had AT&T for almost 3 years with no serious issues other than climbing rates. To date, I have been using the provided all-in-one gateway which has been fine except for some less-than-stellar wifi performance (which is probably partially my fault).

Since I'm moving to a new apartment with the same options, I wanted to see what you all thought about their service offerings before making my choice. I am no networking pro but I am in IT and would like to play around some with my home setup.

I am mostly interested in service and hardware quality, less c

Not sure what details about me are needed so, here they all are: 26 year old white male. Weighing ~205lbs, recently down from ~230lbs over the last year/year and a half. Work out regularly (practically daily), but not particularly high intensity.

I am having a sharp pain on the top of my right quad when fully extended or contracted. The first time this happened was while working out almost two weeks ago, but note this was during light stretching day and while warming up. I was doing a reverse lunge and it felt like I had been stabbed or bitten by a spider (notwithstanding I don't know what those actually feel like). I'm not feeling any pain or discomfort at rest. Oddly enough, the site almo
