I have been living in Switzerland for six years using a dual SIM. I just returned from the US last month with an uograded iPhone (13 to 17pro) and ever since I’ve been back the line has not been connecting to a network. It worked when I was in Sweden and Copenhagen but nothing at all in Switzerland where I live. I’ve called countless times. I get promised it will get restored or promised I will get a call back for assistance and it hasn’t happened.

Hello,

I'm 42 years old, started noticing that I was losing hair and there was more space in the hairline around my crown for the past year. I have been using oral and topical minoxidil for over 6 months. It's been doing great to thicken my hair- I certainly see it's growing more. But I continue to see the area on my crown get worse. When I try to go to the dermatologist she is insisting that it's getting better and is not taking me seriously. I also take supplements (Trichosense here in Europe) and use LLLT. Now I'm wondering if I should try finasteride or spironolactone - how does one choose between the two?

Thanks

Hi all,

I have been paying for two disability plans that only cover 12 months if I am living abroad. I grew up in the US and got these plans at the end of my residency in psychiatry. I plan to try to live in Switzerland permanently. Though my work is still based in the US and I work remotely from there. I am thinking that it doesn't make sense to keep these disability plans. One of the advisors tried to tell me that I could just come once a year (since I have to come back to the US regularly for work) and have a doctor sign off for me that I still have a condition if I do when I'm here, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable with that. He was advising against stopping the plans because I wo

Hi all,

My friend from Switzerland lost his ride and is stranded in Reno. He needs to get to LAX today 9/2 to catch his 9p flight back to Zurich. Anyone driving that might be able to give him a ride? Trying to give it a shot on all the different channels.

Thanks! 🙏🏻

Hello,

I am meeting my mother in Venice for a few days. She is staying in Lido. I need to be able to rent a private office for a few hours a day for work while I'm there. I usually rely on Regus but the closest Regus is two hours from where she will be. Any recommendations? A standard co-working space won't work because I need to take calls in private.

Thanks,

Jenny

Hi all,

I have a pair of Sonos One speakers purchased in 2019 but only used for one year (rest of the time in storage), so they are in great condition. Original purchase price was $379.00(+tax). What's a fair resale price for them?

Thanks

Hello beautiful Burners! This is a repost from another platform where I did not get any helpful answers:

Have any of you in any of your local communities made any formal attempts to create a database of talents, tools and resources available in your communities to help support collaborative projects throughout the year? If so, I'd love to hear about it. I'm trying to do something like this in our local Swiss Burner community. Thank you!!! 🥰

P.s. As I always say, because I know y’all are lurking and hungry, trolls are always welcome too of course- we love the good, the bad, AND maybe most importantly the ugly🧌 Love giving you opportunities to shine 😈

Hello all,

I recently started using Myfitnesspal in January after realizing that after 9 months of twice weekly training with a trainer, my body lost muscle and gained fat likely due to the wrong diet. In 2017 I started weight watchers and lost 50 pounds over three years and since then the way I ate was heavily influenced by that system. A lot of intuitive eating, a lot of fruit actually (which was zero points on my WW plan).

Anyway I learned I have not been getting enough of my macronutrients especially since using MyFitnessPal. Now I'm a lot better about protein and I always meet that goal but I am having a really hard time getting 240g of carbohydrates in every day! Anyone h

Hello all,

Long time Burner here. 14 burns since 2014 (Burning Man and regional). Committed for life.

Anyway, someone who has no experience with Burning Man and knows nothing about it asked about a good article they can read about it. I am wondering if any of you have go-to's that you share with friends and family that give a good overview? There are so many opinions out there, I know.

I am in need of support and advice on how to manage this situation with my sister. Of course there is a lifetime of dynamics that have contributed to the situation I am in today so I will try my best to summarize.

My sister is four years younger than me. We both experienced a lot of trauma in our family growing up with parents who both suffer from mental illness including personality disorders. There is a lot of estrangement in the family in general. As children I was quite mean to my sister and this has left a big mark on her, although throughout the years I have tried to make up for it and repair the situation. Unfortunately there has been a lot of strain in our relationship o

Hello,

I am completely new to tantra. I just read a book once but never practiced. This weekend I was at a birthday party with a mix of folks who are into kink, raves, tantra, and psychedelics. At midnight there was a performance/special event where the participants were lead into a group tantric ritual/experience while blindfolded. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I never did anything like it. I also received no warning about what could happen while on psychedelics. I was on 100mcg of lsd. We were all blindfolded and at some point we were encouraged to lose our boundaries of our sense of self and let ourselves be carried. I don’t recall the details of what she said. But by the
