Hi all - I have been building a nice email mailing list for my site, and have a growing and successful newsletter.  I am using the Squarespace mailing list feature, and I have a couple of questions:

  1. Is there a way to (automatically) create a newsletter archive?  I want people to be able to read back issues before they subscribe.
  2. or Is there a way to automatically cross post the content from my newsletters into my blog.

I suspect I am starting to reach the limitations of the Squarespace email engine - and I may need to move across to a third party (mailchimp?   mailerlite?) - if thats the case, are there any recommendations or guides to integrating an external tool to my Squares

On a journey of learning with my X100F - very pleased with some of my pictures so far.

I take a lot of pictures with bright skies (sun or white cloud - I live in Ireland) and I feel like my skies are often a bit too exposed. In my old SLR days, I might have put a polarising filter on, or an ND filter. Are there any good solutions for filters available for my X100F?

I like Spindizzy - and the secret record shop place... what say you?

I’d love to hear of second hand shops worth a trip as well...

Existing system is play at, 2 x play 1’s and a sub - all as ‘living room’

Purchased a port and a turntable so I can listen to vinyl.

Problem I am having is that the port gets added as ‘living room 2’ and cannot find a way of adding it to the existing system.

Any ideas? Should I just remove everything and start again?

Hi,

I'm moving to Ireland for work - and will live in Dublin, this subreddit and r/dublin have been invaluable.

My company has offered to set me up with appointments to open a bank account, and have asked me to choose between three banks - do members here have any recommendations or advice about these three:

  • Bank of Ireland
  • KBC
  • Permanent TSB

If it matters, I use Santander and Monzo in the UK at the moment - I use my mobile for most transactions, and rarely use a branch or a chequebook.

I have a Traktor S4 S2 which I use to make mixes.

I also have a couple of SL1200's for vinyl - but my old mixer has finally given up the ghost. I know that I can't use my decks with my Traktor - but is there a mixer that I could use to combine the two sources?

Any recommendations? I don't want to spend too much money for occasional use - but I'd love to use both formats.

I'm in the UK if that helps.

I completed week 9 / run 3 yesterday, covering 3.2km in the 30 mins. Never thought this was possible 11/12 weeks ago, when I could barely run for one minute.

I've learned about pace, good shoes, breathing and ignoring the clock for a bit! Now, I'm going to add 5 mins a week until I reach 5km.

Thanks for all the inspiration and messages of support.

Still plodding away with this - was completely shocked by the jump from 25 to 28 mins for Week 8 - how can three mins be so much harder!

Since using Strava, I've been trying to shave a few seconds off my time per km - but with no success, but I am finding I can run for longer, I even added another minute or two to the 28 this morning. Speed will come in the future, I know - but I was hoping to get under 10 mins per km - I've decided that at the end of 9 weeks - I'm going to add 3/5 mins every week until I get to the 5km.Watching everyone's progress is this sub has been inspirational - thank you all!

So, I'm halfway through Week 7 - and I'm not sure if it's the length of the runs, the warm mornings or just a general fatigue - but I'm finding it harder.

My current pace is just over 10mins per kilometer - so I am waaaaay off the 5km pace for thirty minutes, but I am running slightly further each time, so things are improving a little bit.

I'm starting to think about what to do at the end of the 9 weeks - run faster in 30 mins? or run further in whatever time it takes. I'm pretty sure I will carry on - maybe twice a week until it starts getting cold... but I'll need to set myself a new goal and some new steps along the way.

I struggled this morning, not sure if it was a weekend of indulgence, or just an early start and a grey sky. I found it harder to get going this morning than since week 2 or 3.

Found myself musing on the fact that I was actually quite enjoying my runs - shuffling along, listening to my C25K coach telling me how fit I was getting!

It feels like its getting real this week - 3 x 5min run today in the early morning UK sunshine.

My shin and calf pain are a distant memory, and two amazing things have started to happen:

  1. I'm getting a few seconds faster per km each time
  2. I'm actually starting to enjoy running - which is a miracle of some sort.

Onwards and upwards!
