Due to Google ending support for their Nest Guard, I am switching my home alarm system to Simplisafe. I bought a Video Doorbell Pro to replace my nest doorbell. I currently have nest's chime connector installed, which Nest claims is used to provide constant power to the video doorbell. It seems that simplisafe doesn't need this, so I'm guessing I should unplug it, and plug my wires back into the mechanical chime directly? Although I see some people need a simplisafe chime connector, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if I should just leave the nest one installed?

Has anyone else replaced a nest doorbell camera with Simplisafes?

E1 Pro pan/tilt on its own

Wi-Fi Wired Camera Questions

I recently purchased three E1 Pros and set them up in my house not using NVR. They are connected via WiFi, and have the latest firmware from the Reolink website. All three seem to pan/tilt on their own, going through full range of motion. I noticed it on one camera, every 2-5 minutes, for about an hour, then stops for a while. It happens once or twice a day it seems. I have SD cards installed so it had captured the video of this happening. Any suggestions? Since it’s happening one all 3 cameras, seems like a hardware or firmware bug? I have already reached out to Reolink support, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks in advance!

Hi. I’ve had my litter robot for about 2 months now, and we are using Pioneer Pet SmartCat litter (https://www.chewy.com/pioneer-pet-smartcat-unscented/dp/116959). I noticed my cat pees in the front of the litter robot, and the pee sticks to the liner and doesn’t fall into the bin when it cycles. Tried cleaning the liner and that helped for a couple days. Also tried adding some Arm and Hammer litter box deodorizer to that area and it helps a little, but after a few days, clumps are just sticking. I had this happen at 3 and 7 minutes. I plan to try 15, but any other suggestions (or is our only option to try changing to a different litter?) Thanks!

Hi! I have a fairly new braava jet m6 that often doesn’t come off of the dock on its own. I have primarily used dry pads (have used wet only once or twice) but every time I want to run it, I need to help it off the dock otherwise the wheels just spin. I put some painters tape under the wheels to help it get some traction but that doesn’t help. I didn’t want to do anything to permanently alter the dock because I may return it if it doesn’t improve. Has anyone else had this issue, or any suggestions? Thanks!
