Applied for Computer Science with Foundation year (because my GCSEs were really bad when I did them in 2017) in January and now I'm regretting it.

I guess negotiate makes it sound a bit mad but my offer from Sussex uni is for 12 Access credits at Distinction and 27 at Merit, I'm on track to do 33 Distinction and 6 Merit.

Do you think I could talk to the admissions people and see if I could drop the foundation year? Has anyone done this? How did it go?

Please help it's so annoying, every time I delete them they reappear. The strange part is that they're in /home/me/Documents instead of just /home/me folder itself.

Let me know any info I can provide that would be helpful, I'm running Arch with Plasma 5.23.3, Frameworks 5.88 but it's been present across multiple versions.

Just switched all my games over to Linux for the first time, I've always since dual booted or used GPU passthrough.

On my RX 480 my performance tends to be slightly worse, the averages stay around the same but it's much more stuttery. I haven't played a lot of the games I've tested, though, since I already completed them before on Windows and I've just been tinkering.

My understanding is that in Proton with Vulkan, shaders get compiled on demand instead of all at once. Is it normal to have to play for a few hours to get all the shaders cached? Do games under Proton with Vulkan get less-stuttery the more you play them? What can I do to help it? I haven't had a shader cache download come fr

...would you do it at $170, or would you do it as close to zero as you can get?

Prepare for the mother of all dips before the mother of all short squeezes (not saying that's what's happening right now but it could be)

In other words, track to launchpad very bumpy bad road but it's the only way there.

For example: here's the chart for the Volkswagen short squeeze of '08:

Enormous dip before take off

VW is slightly different because it didn't have desperate hedge funds purposefully tanking the price as far as I'm aware but the same principle applies:
