Hey guys i've been racking my head through this for the past few hours, not really getting it. Hoping someone can help me out and point out where my mistake is.

Basically i'm trying to make a match 3 game. I've gotten to the point where I need to check the board if there are 3 or more tiles of the same value in a row. I've got a different array for each row and column of the board so now it's just up to looking through the arrays for 3 or more in a row.

Here's the code. It sometimes returns 3 in a row, almost always adds 2 in a row, and i've rare seen it add 4 in a row, although its rare to get four in a row when randomly generating my board in the first place.

I was watching Thenx's video on pull ups and he mentioned to keep your scapular forward and protracted rather than retracted because you have much more range of motion. This is different from what I've learnt from just about anyone else regarding pull ups.

How do you activate your lats without retracting your scapular? I feel like this kind of pull up would heavily use forearms (to initiate), bicep and shoulder (for the movement), and lats only play a smaller role of stabilizing you when you're approaching the top. So even if you get much more range of motion, you're emphasizing different muscles. Is this the normal kind of pull up to train for a muscle up?

Thanks

TL;DR At the bottom.

Hey guys,

To give some background, I've been on and off with the gym and working out in general. I work out hard for a few months and then get lazy and get fat for the next few months. For that reason, I'm not in shape and currently im more motivated than ever to keep working out. It's been roughly a month since I started and I've been really trying to do my research.

From what I understand, basically:

  1. More volume = more hypertrophy.

  2. Higher intensity = increases strength

But of course, its hard to achieve the same volume with higher intensity given a set amount of time, so when training for strength, hypertrophy gains are present but not optimal.

Pretty please? It's no fun when the literal number 1 strat in every game (aside from countdown) is to control heavy. Please reduce how often it spawns for season 5.

EDIT: Another great idea mentioned by u/TheTopTierQueer is to have multiple places heavy spawns and have the spawn rotate between them. It'd help move people through the map, makes heavy control a more dynamic thing rather than just sitting at the usual lanes picking people off with heavy etc.

Hey friends!

I'm making this post because quite honestly I'm lost with what to do in these situations. I don't even know how to practice it outside of comp. Especially since crucible is full of newbies right now, I'm losing my drive to play because every game is like a stomp.

What I'm talking about is calculated aggression. When I'm in a situation where all my senses are saying don't peek, dont get exposed, when am I actually allowed to engage without dying? I feel like this is what I lose to the most right now. If I listened to my brain the whole game, I'd probably end the game with 1-2 deaths but like 2 kills or something. And that honestly isn't good enough imo. So I go against what my

I was thinking, because it's pretty unintuitive how you can see y2 gear in collections, but not reacquire it. How about make it so when you have an armour piece, you can 'store' it in the collections. Now whenever you obtain something from collections you will get that certain roll everytime. If you want to clear the roll you have stored you can, but obviously you'd lose the chance of reacquiring that set roll anymore.

This would be better than just reacquiring gear with random rolls because if they let us just take random rolled gear from collections, people would just keep rebuying gear till its god rolled. Kinda like what's happened with sparrows right now, but on a much larger scale be

So this has been drilled in my head since we found out about it, but aren't powerful engrams supposed to be well. powerful.. until you've passed the cap for it? So Spider's powerful bounty is a 540 recommended activity, yet at 536 LL finishing it gave me something that was just +1 my light. This is annoying because the way I understood it, it should give me powerful stuff until im 540?? Did it glitch or am I thinking incorrectly?

Got a random drop. Thought it was the pulse Right side of wrong. It looked the same, and i only glanced at the name. Looked at the perks and saw triple tap and full auto. Thought meh triple tap on a pulse.. that's gonna be interesting. Put it on a few seconds ago and its a DAMN SCOUT RIFLE. GOOD LORD BUNGIE LMAO

Seriously, i'm so glad it's in the game. I used to spend so many hours at court of oryx when ttk first came, just hoping i'd get enough people to start my antiquated rune! Over that time I got very good at the other runes and bosses. Later on when I was higher light, I used to help others with their antiquated runes. CoO was basically my second home.

When Archon forge came out, you can bet I was there too. I remember the trick, to walk in crouched and slowly so you can join an instance where there were actually people. It was super fun as well, but personally I liked the hive theme more.

Then D2 came out and I didn't have anything to scratch that itch. I didn't play for most of D2 but whe

Im not calling for it to be nerfed to pre 2.0 levels. With the current sandbox, few things counter shotguns - shoulder charges being one of them. But apart from that, playing against titans who are using shotguns, shoulder charges and titan skating all over the damn place, its a very asphyxiating environment.

Pre 2.0, they didn't one shot. It makes sense that they needed to be buffed to keep up with other weapons/ability buffs, but now titans have a free one shot with 0 counter play every 30? 40? seconds. It's stupid and extremely aggravating. I suggest increasing the cooldown or lowering the damage slightly so its a one shot against < 5 resilience players or something. Anything that st
