Our 3yo caught HFM from the daycare with symptoms starting Monday. We are now 6 days out and she is pretty much back to normal and her sores have all dried out. Wondering what our chances are of getting it at this point since I'll have to head into work and may need to see grandparents. I did cosleep with her for a couple nights when it was at its worst and I accidentally had her ice cream about 4 days ago (yes, I know it's dumb but it was melting and it was just reflex. I kicked myself immediately after I realized what I had done).

Our toddler seems to have allergies according to our ped. She coughs and has phlegm build up when she lies down to sleep. We've tried everything from hot baths before bed, vaporub, humidifier, cleaning her room and removing items that may contribute to her allergies, honey, etc. The only thing we can't seem to do is a nasal spray bc she freaks out so bad she vomits. We got prescribed an inhaler and aerochamber today and she was curious at first but as soon as the inhaler was pressed, she didn't want to do it and freaks out if we make her try. Anyone have any tips on how to get a toddler to take their meds? I hate seeing her uncomfortable at night but I'm at a loss.
Anyone know what the current parking rates are around VMC? Debating taking the TTC downtown on Monday but can't seem to find any parking rates online.
Can I just say how fucking tired I am of people telling me this? Of course I've considered that. However, I had ppd, my anxiety skyrocketed in my new role mom (for which I am now getting therapy), my marriage seemed doomed, and the loss of identity was greater than I ever expected. Knowing this and how I am, having another frankly terrifies me. I realize the argument for giving your first a sibling. However, who is going to raise this person? Me! How am I going to do that if my marriage craps out and mental health goes to shit? I AM thinking of my kid and the fact that I realize how much is on the line if I try for a 2nd and everything falls apart. I'm not being dramatic, there is a good cha
Our 2.5 yo started daycare this month. She was supposed to start around 18 months but then covid happened and she's been at home until July. She had a tough transition which I know is normal and would cry (not at drop off but later in the morning). After doing half days for 2 weeks (she stopped crying hard after the first week and would still cry but on and off) , she finally moved to full days the 3rd week and managed 3 days with some crying until she got sick and didn't return for 4 days. We were nervous about her first day back but she had her best day! She didn't cry, she took a nap, and made it the whole day. We thought maybe she was adjusting but the passed few days we've been called t
Does anyone know any reliable and trustworthy jewelers in the area that does resizing and repairs?
Received notification from Commerce Court that they had a confirmed case on one of their floors. No mention of which tower the infected individual was in. Commons areas and the affected floor were disinfected last night.
First time seller so please be patient. Will be allowing 3 people at a time for the next hour. Path to Nooks is enclosed and Celeste is in there as well. Please don't mind the mess, in the middle of designing things. Tips not required but appreciated!
Edit. Please leave your game name.

Excuse the formatting, posting on mobile.
This really rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like Emily Griffin's fanbase is mostly women and she's endorsing mom shaming and bullying. I realize Meghan Markle is an actress but even actresses are allowed to struggle with motherhood and have their up and downs. Meghan's postpartum interview really struck me because I identified so much with the struggle and pain she seemed to be going through.
It's not like Emily Giffin personally knows the royal couple and she tries to justify her comments as if she knows for fact that Meghan is the cause of all the actio
Anybody have any opinions or experience living near the recycling plant and building material yards north of Mac on Keele? My parents are looking at property nearby but I wasn't sure how much that would affect their daily lives (I.e noise, smells, dust, etc.)
If anyone is familiar with the area and can share any thoughts, it would be appreciated. TIA
Can't remember much except that I think they were animals and one line was "come to bed, come to bed, come to bed together". Nostalgic book for me and just had a baby so would love to find it and read to her.
Edit - book was read in late 80s, early 90s
Just starting to look into kefir and trying to make it myself. Anyone know where I may be able to get good milk kefir grains in the Vaughan/Woodbridge area?

Hi all. I decided to use my time on mat leave to do something different as I work corporate. I ombre bleached my hair, toned it, and applied permanent pink to it. Everything looked good until the pink. The pink only took to some parts (mainly to the bottom of my head, by my neck) and the rest just turned orangish and patchy. There are parts where only bits turned pink (ie just the tips are pink and the rest is more coral orange). I tried to apply semi permanent over it to see if that helped and although it did make it a little more pink, the pink still took better in some areas. It looks patchy and not uniform.
Any ideas how I can fix this? Can I just bleach my hair again and then try agai
