My Pixel started doing this weird thing where when I'm getting ready to take a picture, it starts a 3 2 1 timer and automatically takes a picture. It's super annoying and I can't find any settings that would seem to turn it off.

I saw two guys get on the Cap Metro bus with backpacks with handles sticking out the top of the backpacks that looked like the handles of large knives (like a machete). They didn't look like the type that would be into play sword fighting in the park. Everything about them oozed with a feeling of anger and menace. They didn't say a word to each other the whole bus trip, they just kind of sat and glared and then got off together on Riverside.
I just want to know, is that common to see, and is there any legit reason people carry machetes in backpacks? Migrant farm works with tools? Homeless people for self defense?
Dumbass cop dies because he thinks it's a good idea to use his car to ram a drunk driver. LOL
abcactionnews.com/news/region-hillsborough/fa...Those of us who are landlords have to send out 1099-NEC forms this time of year to any contractors that we paid more than $600 this year. (It's ok if you had no idea, I didn't know about it for a while, but it's a good idea to start.)
What website do people recommend for online 1099-NEC filing? I've used https://www.track1099.com in the past and it was fine. I see there's also others like https://www.1099online.com/ and https://www.tax1099.com/.
Do you recognize this guy? Wanted for sexual assault of a child in Austin.
facebook.com/AustinPolice/posts/291075183059588Everywhere I went in Austin today I noticed people coughing. Maybe I'm just noticing it more, or maybe it's just the cedar pollen, but I don't know. Lots of people are coughing lately.
For large crypto withdrawals (over $150k) it says Celsius may take up to 24 hours to process it manually. Do they process withdrawals on weekends, or will I have to wait for Monday if I start it on Saturday?
I've been watching a bunch of videos like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuHQizveO1c on the City Beautiful channel and I'm realizing how much better Austin could be if we had better zoning and city planning policies. I wish all our city leaders would watch videos like this.
It's great we're making some progress with improving walkability in Austin, but so much more needs to be done.
We had some weed trees popping up in our yard and we waited years to get around to removing them. Now the tree company had to get a tree removal permit from the city, and the city is requiring that we plant an equal number of trees to replace the weed trees. The problem is there isn't room for so many trees on the property, that's why we needed to get them removed in the first place.
Do we just if ignore the city's replanting requirements and hope no one notices?
I've had an issue with my Pixel for years where text messages usually wouldn't make any notification sound. I finally recently discovered that it's due to an old "Google is muting some sounds" bug that Android has apparently had for years and Google marked the bug as "fixed" but never fixed it.
A lot of users have various work-arounds, but all the solutions seem to be old and refer to options and settings that no longer exist. What is the current work around for this bug?

Are there postal mail (physical mail) mailing lists from companies like airlines, Chase, etc, that I should be on to get the best credit card travel mile signup bonus offers? I know some credit card signup offers are invite only. But I tend to remove myself from pretty much all mailing lists because I don't like junk mail. But are there some that I should get on to get the best credit card offers?
