Want to know if anyone has insight into this career. At this particular firm it sounds like they have an investments team and an asset management team. They claim the AM team is involved in the execution process, but I’m weary it could be a reporting heavy role with little focus on deal structuring.

I have an infra background and get a ton of exposure to buy and sell side M&A as well as various forms of capital raising. Never considered going the PE route and interested to hear if anyone has experience.

At least for U.S. based IPPs. I’m sure it’s just the pendulum swinging post OBBB, but it was looking rough there over the summer.

Recruiters have thrown out some numbers that have definitely piqued my interest. Curious if you all are seeing the same, and also just trying to get some more discourse in here.

This is especially true if said IPP claims to have a “start-up mentality”

Not sure where they get off dwindling the team down to the bare minimum, asking for weekly reports, demanding 100 different modeling scenarios, and then asking why capital raising efforts have slowed down.

Came over from the banking side after a year to work at a small IPP in the US. Love the job. Get worked like a fucking dog but it’s honestly enjoyable work, especially compared to banking. Only issue is, I have no honest idea what comp progression will look like over the next 10 years. Feel like I get paid decent enough for the time being but would like to know what the future has in store as I’d like to continue at IPPs.

I’ve seen quite a few LinkedIn job posting to get a frame of reference, but no idea if those are actually legit.

Anyone have insight to comp progression?

Are there any significant pay differences between technologies and whether it’s utility scale or DG?

I have a table with a list of projects, and in the corresponding row there is a status. I want to create another table that will have the list of projects but only the ones that show a certain status. So for example if row 1 column J says “xyz” (in the table with the list of projects) then the equation will spit out the corresponding project name for that row, given column J does say “xyz”

Thanks in advance

Found a small boutique I'm interested in and it just says send an email with your resume to our HR. How would you structure the email to sound professional and make it very clear you are applying for an internship? Would u lay it all out there or do u give them a brief explanation of who you are, what you're studying, and where you're studying? Thanks in advance.
