UPDATE - I have decided that The Angel Project should be open to everyone's campaigns, not just a specific game. Too many people are trying to organize campaigns and everyone is scattered and bouncing from one campaign to another. And our promotional efforts are clogging up The OA sub from those still wanting to discuss the series.

As of today, The Angel Project is HQ to any and all campaign organizers who need a spot to collaborate with their own groups and with other groups doing other things. Two camps - one is focusing on raising awareness about the cancellation of The OA and the outcry to help get The OA renewed (#SaveTheOA) while the second - and the original goal for

I reeeally don't want to be the only one forking over money for new domains and hosting but by god this is a good idea and we should get on this....The Angel Project, remember, is to help marketing & promotion of The OA.

So I'm not sure just yet who is behind the Times Square ad - if you're reading this please contact me! - but I offered a suggestion that they include the phrase "Experience The OA" and followed up with a code or cipher to be solved.

What I'm thinking is this: That code resolves to a URL...that URL is an open face website featuring a wall of entries by all the fans sharing their stories, long, short, brief, tweets, etc. about how The OA experience has impacted their liv

The Angel Project - r/TheAngelProject - working on a crowdsourced marketing & promotional wing with transmedia gaming in order to bring more VIEWERS to the table and spread the word about The OA, both as a must watch series and to help with renewal efforts. Most of you guys are working on renewal and the outcry. The Angel Project is focusing more on increasing viewership, getting people to sit down and watch The OA through community gaming and engagement - the more the new viewership increases, the better our collaborative efforts become.

I can't seem to get this out of my head and along with it comes a vision...so I did precisely the thing I said I didn't want to do and bought yet another domain experiencetheoa.com that I am going to, yet again, stay up all night getting set up :D No rest for the wicked but hey, maybe I can earn some angel wings.

WELL HELL, apparently the fountain is overflowing...new idea just landed. More shortly.

This was inspired from learning that another group of fans have managed to crowd fund an ad for a month in Times Square (how utterly awesome is that? Round of applause for them, yeah?) I suddenly saw this entire flow jump in mind and expressed a desire to perhaps

WE ARE STEVE -- as mentioned, we're designated ourselves Steve for this project and campaign.

Would someone be willing to create an official WE ARE STEVE logo or image, maybe that incorporates all of us chasing The OA in the ambulance :D Something...relevant?

Thanks!

I’m a mom with young kids so my time is limited, but I’d love to be a part of this any way I can. I have a side job making vinyl decals and I’m happy to donate time and materials if the project could use any kind of IRL sticker or decal to leave places. Just an idea.

as the title says, i can also make simple photo edits and can make cyphers. i really want to help and hope that i can deploy my skill set and enhance the project

I probably should've just held off to see if there was any interest before going all in - my fault, not yours - but what I am seeing is scattered campaigns. I tried in the last couple days to whip up some resources for people to use who had an actual interest in doing something of substance but what I am seeing is that the most active group seems pretty much only interested in getting things to trend on twitter and not much else. And the actual willingness of support in the USA is minimal. Seems the only things anyone shows an interest in doing is movement meets - which is spectacular and I'm all for it, or as I said already, getting stuff to "trend" on twitter - which literally does nothing

Call on me for whatever. Copy etc.

GOAL

The goal here is that we create a solid OA specific and related story as a framework to overlay an alternate reality game that has multiple trailheads and rabbit holes to draw in a wide variety of players. This involves a team of Puppet Masters working behind the scenes, in shadow, to provide a unique experience for the players, drawing them deep into the dimension of The OA - or several of them for bonus fun! - and we have an abundance of potential here for some truly spectacular experiences.

A separate post will describe an ARG for those unfamiliar.

TEAMS

To pull this off doesn't require a whole lot of money, and in many cases it won't require anything - with the exception

I'm happy to help any way I can

I like this idea! I would like to help you make it a reality. I'm a project manager in my day job, so if you need logistics help I volunteer.
