My personal headcanon is that it's the same Titan in a new chassis. I support this with the fact that, as a Ronin main, one of the phrases my Swordy Boi usually greets me with when I embark is, "Pilot, it is good to have you back." This creates a pretty strong implication that it's my same Ronin and he's referring to our pre-existing business relationship (just kidding we're literally best friends.)

I don't think any of the other Titan classes are as 'smart' as BT and the rest of the Vanguard class. They can do autonomous combat, and they have voiced warnings and stuff, but it all feels a lot more generic. Part of that is the fact that it's a multiplayer game, and there's only so many voice lines you can have, but I think lore wise it fits that the Vanguards are unique in their emotional intelligence. The IMC goes to a lot of effort to try and capture and study BT, and none of the Apex Predators really seem to talk to their titans in the way Cooper does with BT.

I like to think that the pilot grabs the data core before ejecting and inserts it into a new chassis.

It's the same AI, since they're backed up to a central storage and they just slap in the AI to a data core in your new chassis.

Tbh I always thought the pvp was just pilots fighting in the simulation pods like the training at the start of Tf2.

When the only benefit you have to being alone in real life is that you never feel heartbreak, but Respawn decides to force an emotional heartbreak connection with your buddy character anyway because why not take that away too.

I love that it references cowboy Bebop. Its just subtle enough to go unnoticed, but so cool when you see it pop up. The eject message actually pushed me to finally watch the series
It's a really great show, I watched the dub which was actually very good unlike most dubbed shows, the person who created the show said they prefer the dub voice actors over the original. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it remains one of my favorite shows
I have to watch JoJo then Bebop. So many shows I'll probably never watch because I'm too busy grinding Apex or Warframe.

I would probably avoid saying shit like “universal”. None of my coworkers have any idea what cowboy bebop is... it’s widely known to us, not universally.
