Back when we were still using r/Indonesia, we get similar questions like "I'm going to x city for holiday, what should I see?" or "What's your favorite Indonesian x?" every now and then.
In order to keep the subreddit from getting cluttered with Frequently Asked Questions, I'm making this thread so everyone can use it as a reference before deciding to make a new thread. If a question has been asked & answered before, we recommend the users to downvote and report the thread.
Some things to remember:

Most questions can be answered by a simple Google search, consider doing that before making a thread.

Most of the users here don't work for the government or practice law. If your question has anything to do with legal matters, it's best to ask somewhere else. If your question has something to do with anything that may be illegal, ask and answer at your own risk.

If your question has something to do with travelling, it's best to check other travelling website (such as Wiki Travel or the area's official travel website). This will give you a general idea and more specific questions. Instead of "I'm visiting Jakarta, what can I do?", a question like "What good night live activities can I do in North Jakarta?" is better.
