developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insight...I know we're mostly happy being free and almost completely self funded.
But what if it meant completely securing funding into completion, and potentially doubling the market by appealing various articles of content to the East?
What would be the real cost and deficit to the game? Or is this whole thing is somewhat overblown by the media?
As funding would inevitably slow down, do you think this would be a viable method of continuing financing development for while this is in the Alpha state, until a final release wipe or Beta?
Why would it be terrible, what would be better, etc?
I know this is probably the umpteenth time you've read about it and I'm sorry
-but I typically never get 2nd wave PTU invites, as I'm not concierge and admittedly didn't really help at all with Issue Council, but lo and behold I checked my account and my yellow PTU tab was lit up. Was for some reason thinking there'd be an email sent out..?
Anyway, if you are like me and haven't even checked because you figured you weren't in - go do it: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/account/settings
This is figuring that the Roadmap overall doesn't change, unique assets for various systems will be added along the way, and the game stays in an Alpha state until completely feature complete.
What do you think, and moreover, why do you think CIG wouldn't want to do that?
Does it do anything better than anything else after engineering? I didn't play the Beta but was hoping it would at least be comparable to the FDL, but it seems like people don't like it all that much.
