I am making a batch of Manhattans for a party, will be using a 1.75 liter bottle of rye and a .75 liter bottle of vermouth. Wondering how much bitters I need. I was thinking maybe a quarter oz or 1/3rd oz but would love to hear what people have done in the past.

Wow. What a season this has been. Best team of my lifetime, and the best I have ever seen the fans for a whole season. Shout out to all of you!

I’m anxious for this game. Not because I think we lose, but because I’m excited. I used to dread the big games, now I am chomping at the bit.

This game obviously means a lot. I want to win it desperately. I think we will. To everyone feeling nervous, our coaches have put the whole season into being ready for this game. We have sat guys who could have played all year to make sure they were healthy for this one, and guess what? It worked. 12-0 and we are the healthiest we’ve been since week two. Our full defense is ready to go. We have our top five r

We have gone 11-0 once before in our history. We won a national championship that year.

This team is incredible.

We have the best player in the country and a team full of winners. I’m tired of hearing people talking about being afraid of Oregon or that “we need to get by the Coug first.” The coug can EMFA. We will stomp them like we do whenever we are good. We already beat the ducks twice in the last year.

Get out there and talk shit. We are about to have a bluebird afternoon apple cup. This is the best football experience on the west coast, and we are going in 11-0. Enjoy it. Cherish it. THIS is Washington football. This is who we are.

Go out there and be the best fans you can be.

UW basketball is about to accomplish an inconceivable feat. This will be the third time in the last ten years that their team will miss the tournament while having TWO first round picks on their team. There was also the year they had a losing record while having the number one pick in the draft.

At what point should people call for Hopkins to be fired? He has at least a bit of leeway after winning the conference last year, but this season was completely unacceptable, and I don't expect the team to be much better next year.

For that matter, when should Cohen be put on the hot seat? Petersen basically hired himself, and the Hopkins hire she made is not the slam dunk people anointed it as. Th

While the offensive side of the ball was a pretty rosy outlook, the same cannot be said about the defense.

Defensive Line: Well... we signed no one. Even on a down year on the west coast this is horrible. While we still have a shot with Princley U from Texas, I am not holding my breath. It's true that we signed the best DL class in our history last year and will likely sign another terrific class next year, this is still unacceptable. It puts a lot of pressure on next year and if we screw that up we could have a 2019 middle linebacker sized hole in our defense in a few years.

Outside Linebackers: The lone bright spot. We signed the best edge player in the history of our p

While I am not a recruiting expert I do watch quite a bit of film of these guys so I thought I would get the conversation started on the evaluation of this class. Obviously we can add a couple guys before now and February, but I wanted to give my scores as things stand now.

QB: Garbers is a solid get, especially considering we have a generational talent coming in next year. Garbers really took a big step his senior year, accounting for over 70 TDs and proving to be a bit of a dual threat but running for close to 500 yards. It does help that he has a pair of 6'4+ targets to throw to. His arm strength is decent, I would say average for a P5 QB, and shows pretty good accuracy. Where he really

That this coaching staff needs some major changes?

First, Bob Gregory needs to go. He has always been an awful recruiting who people claimed was a good enough coach to cover for it. Guess what? He isn't! Don't let the door hit you on the way out Bob! Thanks for running off all our black players!

Sadly, Bush probably needs to go. It's not really his fault, he is stuck with Petersen's dogshit offense. We need to bring in someone who can run a functional system. One that Petersen isn't able to sink his talons into.

Paopao... what is you say... you do here? He is almost definitely gone. Pete has called out TE recruiting in press conferences and Paopao has only been

Interested in discussion on how we feel about the team as we are on the eve of fall camp. I'll give my thoughts on each position group and would love to hear peoples input! I'm just some guy so my evaluations are incomplete, but I do my best to follow how the team is doing on the field and in recruiting.

D-Line - A lot of people are worried about this position after losing Greg Gaines and not having a ton of proven depth there to take his place. I am honestly not concerned at all about this position. Levi O could be a defensive player of the year candidate, the guy is elite. Next to him I think between Tuli and Taki, who both had phenomenal springs, will fill the role of multi-gap imm

This is a really important topic for UW fans to be talking about. If you have been paying attention to UW news over the last week (and if you were REALLY paying attention for the last year) you will know that there are some problems with the UW program concerning it's perception on race issues. In this post I will be reviewing the events that have led to this point, why it is important, and question whether or not it is valid.

Background: Last week, THE best player in the history of Washington state (Garfield and Kennedy HS) went out of his way to give an interview with Brandon Huffman of 247 sports saying that he is no longer seriously considering Washington. This news

I was one of the few people who subjected themselves to the misery of the Spring Preview and I wanted to share my thoughts in case anyone was interested. Despite the practice format there was some cool stuff to see and I have a better idea of how the season is going to go.

First off, the ugly stuff. This event was pretty awful. Some of that had to do with the freezing wind and rain that came in for about the first half (I debated leaving), but most of it had to to do with the ZERO effort that UW put into this event. Some of my earliest memories of UW football were coming up to the Spring Game with my dad. We lived far away and it was tough to come up on weekend in the fall w
