Octopath Traveler is currently 50% off on Steam.

I was interested in the game when it first came out, but it had a pretty mixed reception. It apparently had an okay and forgettable story. Most reviews stated that while the game had charm and nostalgic undertones, it wasn't worth the full price.

$30 dollars is still pretty hefty though. I'm sure if I wait a few more years I'll either forget about it or it'll be even cheaper. Now that time has passed, I wonder what ya'll think about the sale price tag of the game.

Working from home because of coronavirus has been a real struggle for many reasons because of the structure, and environment work provides. But those issues are manageable.

But the real issue for me has been food. I kind of relied on my job to feed me, and now I can't handle this extra responsibility on top. I hate cooking and I hate meal prep, I've attempted it so many times in the past.

I just bought a loaf of bread for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but I really don't think that should be my diet for the next month.

I'm moving to SF next week to start a job. I'm already comfortable about finding a place to stay. The FAQ has a lot of information about how to find a neighborhood/rent/location/utilities as well as things to do.

I'm looking for something a little more basic.

I'm more concerned about what to pack to move there. I have a huge tendency to overpack while also forgetting to pack essential things. I'm coming from the midwest where I was able to fill up my apartment with so much useless shit and I had the luxury of filling my car with just about all my possessions.

I have to be much more mindful of what I own and choose to bring since I'm going to have significantly less space and I'll be shari

What originally started as a case transfer ended up as an "almost" completely new build. I decided on a modern CPU when I came to terms with my severe CPU bottleneck, and that my i5-6500 could not keep up with MH: World (my FPS hardly differed between 1080p and 1440p and microstuttered regardless of what I did). Because neither my MOBO or

Since my sffpc build basically ended up being a whole new build. I want to turn a bunch of these old parts from my previous ITX PC into GPU-less server box. Obviously I want to go small, or else my define Nano S would be fine.

While custom solutions such as the InWin Chopin are really cool, it's $100 and I really want to reuse my ATX PSU since I already spent way more than I anticipated I want to reuse all my old parts and not pay premiums for new ones.

The SG13 looks like the best solution (although its only $40 dollar cheaper and a whole 12 Liters 🤮, maybe the Chopin isn't so bad). But I'm left with all this extra space that's meant for a GPU.

I work full-time at a place that admittedly has a lot of dry work. It's not glamorous but necessary (probably the worst environment for an adhd programmer but no worries I'm on the job hunt!)

For the past week or two my mind and body has completely rejected my work. I've been unable to get anything done or I'm getting it done 2-3x slower than I should.

The deadline is not close so no one has noticed, but it's not far either.

It's also been hard to focus while thinking about the job hunt. Not only am I consistently worried about improving my DS&A for leetcode style questions (I'm 2 years rusty and have a lot of work to do) but the interviews themselves. Yesterday I had a 40 minute p

Whether or not the bottom fans should be intake or exhaust depends on whether or not you're running vented or unvented. It's not that easy to switch between the two without taking apart half the PC - so I want to make the decision first. I've been stuck on this decision for the past 2 weeks, and have had difficulty researching the inferior option.

The main strength of the Sliger is the vented option, because vented is so breathable and you get significant temp differences.

I'm strongly considering the unvented option because:

  1. I live in a dusty environment, so I want to take advantage of a bottom dust filter.
  2. My hardware isn't that strong and I do not OC (I may OC in the future)

I found that while I have quite a bit of python experience and I know how to look up things in the Standard Library.

However in a recent technical assessment, I completely choked on how to use key in sorted because I've never done it before (I usually use __lt__ for custom objects ). (And I forgot that sorted returns a new sorted list until far too late! - since ive been so used to list.sort()). I'm realizing that while I "know" Python, I'm really not comfortable or familiar with the language at all.

I'm looking through the List of Books for Python learning. "The Standard Python Library" seems like it's exactly what I need, but I'm concerned it's a little outdated.

Is the book decen

Meal prep advice?

Tips/Suggestions

I know this has been asked a million times already but here I go.

Do you all have any strategies on preparing meals? I’ve eaten out every dinner (luckily work provides lunch).

For me, the biggest problem is grocery shopping and food spoilage. When I shop for specific recipes, I always end up with too many ingredients that go bad when I forget about them. But if I reuse the recipe, the same meal gets boring and overused.

Plus it takes so much time to make meals from scratch every day. Honestly don’t want to spend 45 minutes every day cooking. And once I finish cooking/eating I don’t want to do anything anymore.

I’m trying to figure out how to get better at cooking food that freezes and

###Build Help:

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

I built a gaming PC 3 years ago - and I've been pretty happy with the build. It's a simple build with a MSI GTX 1060. I don't overclock or anything.

My current case is a Fractal Design Define Nano S. As you can see, the case itself is quite big, and there's a lot of real estate in it. https://imgur.com/a/mRq2q7z

In the past 3 years, I've had to move the PC across states/apartments 3 times. Even moving this small tower has been quite clunky.

I can see myself moving 2-3 times more in the next 5 year, so I'm going for a more compact, minimalist route - and I want people's recommendations.
