I have only been playing since Jan, but it seems each significant update it's essential/better to start from scratch. Knowing now, the story path when I had started was already paced to get to launching a human too fast.

With caves, warehouse, mazes and refinery in game. On a new start, it's trying to get you to those points too quickly and thus missing some content that should be part of that journey.

So with random calls on a phone and such, I hope they can do a revision to that quest line to allow middle content, before major content.

I'm purposely avoiding certain sugar next steps in this run, as I know, but for a new player the pacing isn't ideal. even for the current EA status.

I have a Starlink and I use it for camping, in which I have an Amplifi Unifi router connected to the Starlink gen 2. All is plug and play, I turn on the system the Starlink boots, the Amplifi boots and I have an IPv4 network available.

I've been forced to keep the Starlink in standby mode, so looking to use it as a failover connection for my home running a UDM-Pro. I originally used the single LAN from the Amplifli to connect to the failover port of my UDM-Pro, but it took over my whole network and tried to be the primary device manager for all of my Unifi hardware!

So I removed the Amplifi and connect directly to the WAN port of the Starlink (12v system with a PoE splitter and hardware)

I'm in Australia and have used Starlink for the last year or so in full roam mode for irregular camping trips. I'd activate and then pause after the camping trip, for 0 cost while paused.

I got a notification of an "upgrade" to an ongoing cost, which I figured. Okay next time I activate, I'll need to decide and go on this cost per month ($8.50).

But I've just received an email with the above title, stating I need to take action and "upgrade" to this monthly cost by before 13/09/2025. If no action is taken by that date, your paused service line will be cancelled.

So they'll cancel my subscription? What is the impact fit this action, on a full roam plan? I'll need to sign up each time and c

I've tried to setup the energy dashboard with my Growatt system (Solar, Inverter [2x 5kw Inverter] & batteries). Growatt and integration isn't great, but I get metrics.

My issue, is that I've added Grid Consumption (which measured through the Load passing through the two inverters), Solar production via the Energy Today recorded by both inverters and Battery in/out via the Charge/Discharge All today for one of the inverters (battery is only plugged into one).

The issue I'm finding is that as all data is passed through via the 'primary' inverter the load consumption for import/export and battery draw all come via the same source. Where I'm getting, per the images (at the time I only use

I have a Homelab running a R730 using esxi6.7 with vCenter. I know win10 is end of life and wanting to upgrade/use Win11. But need a KMS solution so I can setup vCanter for the for supporting that OS.

I looked at the PyKMIP option on GitHub, but it seems it's no longer supported and a number of the code uses deprecated python commands (3.7+) and I do not have the skillset to correct the underlying code.

Has anyone else gotten a viable, free, KMS working on their esxi6.7 homelab environment. Updating to esxi7+ isn't an option at the moment, due to costs associated with that path.

I wanted to have support for a 12v system when I'm camping, for a more efficient use of my power. I also wanted it to be portable and self contained, allowing me to setup and pack it away when not needed (my Ute is a daily driver).

I was looking at a mobile router (GL.iNet router) for the setup, but had a spare Unifi Amplifi router that I ended up using (which fits will into the case).

At the moment I've double sided taped all items into the box, they allow it be removed if needed and the plan is to have the box open when in use (to allow heat dissipation), but I also thought about having in/out fans to allow it to run closed. I use a XT60 connector, for which I have an output connector

Prior to patch 1.02 I was getting around 60-70FPS on my gaming laptop running an i7-9750M + 2070 Max-Q running on HIGH settings. After the patches 1.02-03 I'm now getting burts of 65FPS, but averaging 10FPS. On my desktop running Ryzen 7 3700X & 1070 with a 4k monitor I'm getting lot better FPS.

I've even, just today, upgraded the primary drive to a NVM and did a fresh install of the OS, Drivers and game. Still sitting at sub 10FPS. Even in the menu, I'll get spikes of 65FPS ... then it falls down to 10 FPS. Watching resources, it spikes to 100% 3D GPU usage, even went set to LOW.

Has anyone else gotten this, or know of a solution? Is it Nvidia drivers that I should roll back

Has anyone else found their UAP-AC-PRO running at high CPU usage after a number of days? THis appears to only have started happening after the 2nd last or firmware upgrades to those AP's.

I have two AP that service around 70-80 clients, majority are 2.4g and usually a 70/30% split between the two AP's (but can't seem to get an even split). The higher client unit, over time, will climb to max CPU usage and sit at 98%+ until restarted.

Running latest controller ( atag_6.2.26_15319) and firmware (4.3.28.11361) for those units. Any suggestions on how to check what is going wrong with the units.

Running a USG-Pro-4 + US-48-G1 & US-16-150W, at latest firmwares.

I'm using the Arduino IoT Cloud service and created a sketch from the base sketch created when you setup a new "Thing". All works fine, but I've found for these D1 Mini (ESP8266) Dev boards they are broadcasting an AP (ESP_***** or FareLady_****).

Has anyone been able to turn off the AP broadcast and retained the Arduino IoT Cloud functionality?

I tried inserting the WiFi.mode(STA) into the setup code, which appeared to turn off the AP broadcast, but I then seemed to get errors with connection failures to the MQTT server and IoT Cloud.

Upgraded my USG-PRO-4 from 4.4.52.5363507 to 4.4.55.5377109 and WAN + PPPoE not working, after update my WAN reverted to DHCP and when I set it to PPPoE (for my ISP) it no longer sees a WAN port and does nothing to connect.

Has anyone else experience this issue? I've tried restarting, reverting the firmware. But now it's not working when I set connection type to PPPoE (either WAN1 or WAN2). DHCP connections, not issue.

I have Roller Shutter units that are a priority system developed here in Australia (OzRoll e-port) that are a ~14V OEM controller that has an internal battery that powers a motor via UP/STOP/DOWN buttons. They have a standard unit and a RF unit (using rolling codes) that can us a 1/9CH remote to control.

At basic operation I'm trying to make them smart assistant enabled, that can active the buttons (this are are a press button, that bridge a circuit). I've been able to use a 4CH smart relay to perform this, but it's not ideal and they are just buttons and cannot operate it easily via voice (as it doesn't know it's a shutter/bli

I have a dumb device that is used to trigger roller shutters, it has an UP, STOP & DOWN button. This is just a pad that bridges a circuit. I've tested activation this action via a Tuya Relay. But I'm hoping to use a D1 Mini to perform the function of triggering those presses and embed it within the OEM controller. Will I be able to program the mini to perform this function? My goal is to have it 'smarten' my device and allow Alexa to control it or remotely.

EDIT: This is the controller I'm trying to smarten up (e-port controller) an Australian based manufacturer

In the last 2-4 days, I've had rogue smart detections become stuck or being triggered and lasting for hours. They appear as black boxes in the Unifi Protect UI and when you click on them they don't usually play. But when you view them in the detail view, they show as having long record times (some are 2+ hours long).

  1. Is anyone else getting these (my storage isn't full, but it's approaching capacity before it has to start purging old records)?
  2. Is there a way to delete these rogue entries? As they either don't work or link to wrong entries or stop others from recording.

I've since removed all smart detection zones and rebooted the cameras (a firmware update didn't seem to help).
