Anyone watching the stream may have noticed a large amount of hype over a quote from the annual meeting regarding share counting. Hype is great, but I believe in this case it was indeed "confirmation bias" as used in its traditional sense; where fact is twisted to confirm previously held beliefs.
The clearest quote we have from the meeting is
"There are present at this meeting in person or by proxy more than the majority of all shares that are entitled to cast votes."
Now, we may find out more as GME makes its official filing, but I wanted to look into the language of this quote. Specifically "majority" and why Gamestop might include that language.

If you want to hear about the stunt industry and our experiences, head over to the Machester Grand Hyatt, Grand D at 4:15, SDCC. We've got a couple guys who have been working for years, the guy who fell into the raptor pit on Jurassic World (me!) and a lot of other talented and entertaining stunt guys. Come watch as our moderator (Jedi Elvis) really tries to keep us on track!
Hey redditors! In town from LA (the west coast one) and currently don't have plans (stunt team has the weekend off). Going to go hit up the Oyster Festival (close to my hotel, so why not). If anyone has any other ideas, let me know!
