My partner is out of the country for a work trip. They've been gone for a week as of today and will be gone next week. I enjoy my solitude as an introvert and only-child, but I still am finding myself feeling sad and lonely.
Since they've been gone I haven't gone for a run, I haven't walked the dogs (although I do give them attention). I haven't really been working from home while they are gone either, been making the commute 1.5 hours into the office - I enjoy the energy there, and the motorcycle ride, plus there is a ferry involved and it's very peaceful and pretty 20 minute transfer.
I noticed on the ferry ride I've been checking my phone more than appreciating the view and experience,

A couple years ago I got back into scale model building, it’s been a good pandemic hobby. Made me realize how terrible my fine motor skills are with my hands. Very satisfying though.
There’s a few BMW bike kits out there, a R NineT kit came out last year but it’s $100 iirc. I hadn’t thought of customizing it like this guy does…
I was 27. The first 5 years were shock, I think. The second 5 years were me attempting to bond with my mom by drinking and looking for her, or sitting with her at the bar - symbolically speaking. Haunted by her. I’d do double takes when I’d see little old ladies who kinda looked like my mom now and then.
The last 3 years I’ve been soberish. Moderated heavily in 2019, then went sober in 2020 through last year in August.
Drinking now is a special treat for special occasions. I’m proud of how I have changed my relationship with this behavior and substance. Despite this blanket of grief that never seems to lift, like a veil or perhaps ballast.
I’m proud of how I explored my spirituality when
RedlineAutoParts has ND Recaros in stock (if budget is not an issue) best upgrade I’ve done to my RF

I love this bike and it's next steward will too.
Too many close calls over the years with people not paying attention, better to walk away while I still can do so without needing a cane or financial assistance for hospital bills.

With age comes the cage.
Cheers.
I'm at about 23k miles on my 2018 and I noticed the front turn signal started causing an fault icon and rapid flashing. I did a bit of searching on the owners forum, but I only found references to this issue being related to a zip tie being too tight, and that its covered under warranty - but I didn't find actual posts about it. I replaced the very-tight zip tie, but like I said, I'm at 20k miles, so it's been wiggled to death I think
Anyone here have this issue? I'm pretty sure my warranty has long since expired and my local dealer charges $170/hr, so I can try it myself.
Is there a tutorial or anything you are aware of for tending to this? Replacing the front blinkers in general. *I wa
Edit: ended up finding Invicibles for cheap at Nike Outlet near me. They’re great. Not very sexy or exciting to look at, but the hype is real for super comfy long slow runs.
Next month I'm renting a cabin in the Methow Valley here in Washington to do some long slow zone 2 ROAD runs for a week. Maybe some trail, but probably not. Planning on 2-3 hour slow runs each day.
I just grabbed a pair of Gore-tex Pegasus Trail 3's to replace my Wildhorse 7s for my "do it all" shoe - road, trail, treadmill. I live next to a trail system, but I do a lot of road and treadmill work, so it doesn't make sense to keep using these off the trail.
I've had my eye on the Adidas Adistar but nobody n
