I know this is a shitpost but I wanna hear predictions about Mike Trout’s 2019. Does he get even better? Does he get injured again? Does he slash .350/.500/.650? Does he hit 50 homers? Does he get 15 WAR? Will he steal a tonne of bases? Or maybe he has an off year for once. What do you think?

Just some off season wondering with all the FAs and trades happening. What teams do you think could trade for Mike Trout and what would they have to offer? Would it be worth it? Do you think he moves before the end of his contract? After?

I’m excited for the season starting so I’m doing a little shitposting. My question is. Do you think a 50HR/50SB season is possible? If so who do you think has the best chance? And who do you think has come closest?

I was looking at the 1980’s oilers and there’s a lot of stats that seem like they won’t happen again. Multiple 70 goal scorers(Gretzky and Kurri) and Dman with 49 goals(coffey) a goalie getting 14 points(Fuhr). What other teams had eras( less than a decade) of unbelievable stats?

Like everyone, I’ve heard a tonne of hype about Harper for the last 6 or 8 years. I’m kind of curious why so many people think he’s one of the greatest players now and ever. I can see that he’s really athletic and talented but he doesn’t seem to live up to the hype. He has had one great season and another great start to a season but so have a lot of players. I’m not trying to start an argument or anything, I just want to know what I’m missing

So here’s the deal. I live in Canada and am pretty responsible with money. I have a travel rewards Visa, a mastercard and a second mastercard for Costco. My mortgage is with a different bank than the one I do my personal banking with. That bank wants to send me a Visa with no annual fee and 15.9% interest for a permanent rate. I rarely hold a balance on any of my cards. I use them to get travel rewards, cash back and build my credit. Would it be detrimental to my credit to accept this new card? I’ve heard some differing opinions. Thanks everyone for the help.

I called capital one yesterday to see if they could raise my limit above $1500. They said no. It's weird because they had no reason. I have a credit score of 780, a visa with $10K limit, a $10K line of credit and a mortgage. I have no debt besides the mortgage and never miss a payment. I have savings and mutual funds and make good money. Do any experts here know what capital one looks for to raise my limit? Thank you

In the off season I've been watching a lot of old clips on youtube. There's always been agitators or pests in the league and some you love and some you hate and it's hard to explain when your team isn't even involved For example I can't stand Sean Avery or Steve Ott but I cant get enough of Matthew Barnaby clips. Which agitators does everyone love or hate and why? Maybe with clips
