I've been playing quite a bit of Dirt Rally lately and I'd love to get a better steering wheel.

Believe it or not, I've been using one of these for the past... I don't know, 12 years?

It's originally made for XBox (yes, the first one) and I'm using a really shitty homemade adapter with unstable drivers. Installing is a pain everytime I reinstall Windows, it always takes an hour to get it working, FFB isn't working, the shifter is broken, and the wheel doesn't even turn 360 degrees.

It's really that bad. But at least it's som

Hi!

My HDTV stopped working a couple weeks ago. I can turn it ON using the buttons on the side, but not with the remote control. That's all I can do. If I press the source button on the TV, it shows the settings menu but I can't navigate through it. It doesn't work with my Harmony remote either.

When I looked on the internet, the main board appeared to be the origin of a lot of problems so I ordered a new one. I got it today, installed it, but it still doesn't work.

My tv is a Samsung LN32B360C5D and the main board is BN96-11408A.

I really don't know what to do now... any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

My router (Linksys WRT54G) is protected. Someone managed to crack my password and downloaded nearly 30gb/day (sometimes over). Unfortunately, my ISP can't do anything about it. I'll have to pay for the extra (around 400$).

I unplugged everything before leaving to work this morning. Looking at the stats, it always happens during the week-end. I'll plug back my router tonight and see if he will connect to it.

If he does, is there anything I can do while he's connected?

Thank you!

I rarely post but now I need some advices.

I got hired as a junior graphic designer in september 2011. Since I don't feel confortable saying where I work, let's just say it's in the video games industry.

At first, we were only two graphic designers in the marketing team. My co-worker (and lead) left a couple months ago. They decided to add two designers to the team. One guy that just finished school, and a girl who has been in the industry for 10 years.

She's technically my lead (not that she does anything though, she doesn't even know what i'm working on) and now does the job I used to do, which consists of regular promotions within our products, different homepages for new promotions an

I've been playing for 45 minutes with sound almost to the max. I was so deep in my own little world that I never noticed the sound was still coming out of the speakers. My neighbours are outside, 10 feet away from me, seperated by an old window. It's a really old building so everyone close to me heard my "i'm high and just messing on a piano" solo.

I'm really not an amazing player. I'm just starting to get more deeply into piano (been playing guitar for 10 years). I'm really embarassed right now.

So if you heard a bad piano player thinking he's the new mozart, it might've been me. I apologize.

tl;dr: I played a "I'm high, I suck at piano but I like to think i'm good" solo to all my neighb

I'm in a really good mood since the past 4 weeks. I started learning piano intensively and I have lots of projects going on. Nothing can stop me for conquering the world.

I saw her last week. She let me talk for 30 minutes. I tried to explain everything, but it's quite hard when you're happy. She then said that i'm fine and that my meds are useless (Seroquel 150mg). She suggested that I start reading on different things I could do, like meditation and buddhism.

Really? Is it me or it doesn't make any sense?

I have an appointment with another psychiatrist next wednesday, I hope he'll be more helpful than her...

First of all, sorry for my english. It's not my first language so there will be some mistakes here and there. I don't know if this is the right subreddit for my problem, I didn't know where else to post.

I've been reading this subreddit for a while but never posted anything. Now I think I need some help!

I'm 23 years old. I studied computer graphics and got my first job as a graphic designer back in september. When younger, I did a lot of theater and stuff like that.

I love designing stuff and expressing myself through my projects, but I miss the scene so much. Every time I go to a concert, I have these butterflies in my stomach just by imagining myself there. Now, I even get them just b
