Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes, I accept the terms and conditions.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Frequent gaming, watching movies, possibly some video capture or editing at some point but all hobby-level activities.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

This is replacing a laptop that can't reliably run Vermintide or Fallout 76. I want to crank the settings on some simpler games like DotA2 and stay effective, and be able to play this and the next few generations of RPGs with stro

Welcome to the 2012 r/hockey Mock NHL Entry Draft. First of all, I'd like to congratulate the LA Kings on their Stanley Cup win, and second of all, as the mock commissioner, I'd like to encourage everyone to boo the real commissioner tomorrow night because it's always hilarious. And since no one likes sitting through all the preamble of the real draft - let alone a fake one - Edmonton, you're on the clock.

Please have your selection in by 9:05 PM, at which point, Columbus will have 5 minutes on the clock. If you've been elected your team's GM and your name isn't up here, please make sure you've sent me a PM. Also, your team will be on the clock until the expected 5 minute interval. If I g

It's the day before the NHL's 2012 entry draft, so I hope you've had your say about the kids eligible for selection this year. I'll have a draft thread going up at 8:30 with the teams, the GM, and a slot for the pick. I'm a little unclear on the terms of the LA Kings' 30th overall pick, as I was under the impression that Columbus could elect to take next years, but that protection may have actually been just for the Kings. Will try to clarify before tomorrow night. Edmonton, please send me your pick at or before 9PM!

Nominated GMs, please send me a message before the draft. I'll be going around to make sure your name has at least one upvote on the team thread (or is running uncontested), s

Who do you want to handle the 13th overall pick in r/hockey's mock draft, and which player would you like to see added to the Dallas Stars' system?

I know there was a thread for the previous incarnation of the draft, but I just wanted to consolidate any discussion and get a name for who wants to make the pick. Is it going to be Nail, or patch up the positional holes with Murray?

Who do you want to handle the 7th overall picks in r/hockey's mock draft, and which players would you like to see added to the Minnesota Wild system?

Who do you want to handle the 26th overall picks in r/hockey's mock draft, and which players would you like to see added to the Canucks system?

Who do you want to handle the 9th overall pick in r/hockey's mock draft, and which players would you like to see added to the Jets' system?

Who do you want to handle the 10th and 19th overall picks in r/hockey's mock draft, and which players would you like to see added to the Tampa Bay Lightning system?

The 2012 Entry Draft is a week away, and r/hockey will be conducting its first ever mock draft.

In order to do the draft as quickly as possible and to avoid vote-rigging by rival subreddits, we'll do this by having each team subreddit appoint a general manager between now and 9PM on Wednesday, June 13 (edit: 20). General managers can be nominated however the subreddit would like, and do not have to be the subreddit mods. (You can use any criteria to pick a GM, but I'd suggest having people rank prospects, and electing the most popular draft list.) At 9PM, whoever has created the original selection post will message me with the team's new GM (if I dont get a message, Ill be messaging whoev
