A couple years ago I accidentally impregnated a friend from work. It was a one time only sorta thing, but I chose to ask her to keep the baby because... he's mine. I wanted no form of relationship with her beyond friendship, but I agreed to share a home with her and raise him for a while, provided we kept our personal lives separate and discussed/negotiated future issues. It was important, if my son was going to have a good childhood. It only worked for a few months, as she became obsessive and suspicious and made out to her family that we had a relationship. I asked her to leave, and I kept my son about 70% of the time - all day every day, and 4-5 nights a week.

My client owes me a few grand and I was expecting that this month. Didn't happen. (Edit here: he's not at fault, he had a bit of an emergency and I don't fault him for being late paying me, I know he'll never read this but I don't want to insinuate he's a bad guy) So I'm flat broke, absolutely and completely, until he catches up in early January. Are we at fault? Do we deserve what we're getting? If we sit at our keyboards and do nothing but bitch online, at what point does the irresponsibility and lack of political engagement by our elders stop being a legitimate excuse? When does all of this become our fault, when do we lose the right to complain and have to accept that our own generation's inaction has become the prime enabler of these frauds and criminals and well-organize

A couple days ago, Matt Lauer lied about Assange being seized after a manhunt. We all know the warrant was properly issued after a few delays, and he met with police the very next day. Some manhunt. But I noticed their report defines the classification 'NOFORN' as 'not for internet distribution' in this video originally posted here

This is untrue. NOFORN means '[no foreign nationals](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classified_information_in_the_United_States#Levels_of_classification_used_by_the_U.S._gov
