I'm not sure what everyone was wanting or expecting with a Wheel of Time series, but as a 25 year+ fan of the series, I'm disappointed that people who have read the books can't accept the differences between the show's reality and their own entirely unrealistic imaginings of what it could be.

I fully expected this show to never be made, as there were too many impossible hurdles to making it reality. Through some miracle, the world became interested in fantasy after successful stints of LotR and GoT. Through another miracle, the world embraced HBO-style, long-form storytelling due to the Sopranos and new online streaming formats.

And then it happens, Amazon picks up The Wheel of Time

Having trouble picking out defenses available in your league for RoS/Playoffs? I put together a spreadsheet this morning to help me pick.

The Math Part:

To judge each team's efficiency on defense, I took their schedule in weeks 1-8 and summed the average ppg allowed of their opponents. I then subtracted the team's ppg from that average, giving the average ppg that team scores on defense relative to the average allowed by their opponents. This gives an adjusted view of how a team performs relative to their schedule.

Now I repeat the above, but forward looking. In weeks 9-16, what's the average ppg of their opponents and then we can add the team's efficiency modifier to that average ppg

Going through some TensorFlow tutorials off of CognativeClass.ai, and in one of their linear regression examples, my linear regression wasn't working until I put a normalizer into the loss function.

See the 'nf' variable on line 28. What does it do in line 30? It seems like adding 'nf' to both sides of the equation would accomplish nothing, but without it my results are hot garbage.

Seriously, it's been off the shelves for months at my location and Daisy tastes like shit compared to HEB's awesome store variety.
