The Mo Long counter Advent Calendar - Day 13
The team: Kahli Chloe Kat
Usable against: Avoid Mo Long teams with revivers or additional strippers. Preferably used on teams with at least 1 monster that should die to a single Kat sword (Seara, Feng Yan, etc.).
How it works: I'll just give it to you straight up from the start. This isn't a great team against Mo Long, and I'm not even a fan of Kat overall for GWO in any situation. But like I've said for some other less-than-reliable teams in the past, it's an option when you've already used up your good teams for siege, there's only neverending Mo Long towers in sight, and you're willing to rely on a prayer to RNGesus to just get your siege swords quickly done and over with.
At least this team is relatively easily acquirable by anyone, and is one of the best Kat comps if you are going to use Kat at all. Chloe provides whole team invulnerability to soak up Mo Long's S3. Kahli not only buffs Kat, but also provides a secondary nuke to clean up what Kat may have missed. On top of all of this, both Chloe and Kahli give your team additional buffs to decrease the chances of Mo Long's S2 from strip stunning your team. Remember that while Mo Long has a decent chance of stripping will and stunning if will is the only buff, his chances are greatly diminished as you stack more buffs since it can only strip 1 buff at a time.
After watching the video I know a lot of people are going to say that I got lucky that 2 swords went into Mo Long. Well, let's just play out each scenario in our head to decide just exactly how lucky that was, and what overall chances you should expect.

1 sword into each monster: this is ok. Seara should die, Harmonia will use S3 which will damage Kat and heal Mo long, and even if she procs and heals with S2 it doesn't make a difference. Mo Long hopefully does not strip/stun Kahli (who now has 3 or 4 buffs). Now Kahli 1 shots Harmonia, and you should be able to 3v1 the Mo Long.

all 3 swords into Mo: this is good. Mo is dead, Seara can't do anything because you still have immunity, Harmonia can't do anything either, you 1 shot Seara with Kahli and then 3v1 the Harmonia.

all 3 swords into Seara: this is ok. It's pretty much the same as scenario 1, you pray Mo Long doesn't strip/stun and then you can 1 shot the Harmonia, and then 3v1 the Mo.

all 3 swords into Harmonia: pray you don't glance all 3 hits. If you kill Harmonia then you've most likely won, if you don't then you've lost.

2 swords into Mo, 1 sword into Seara. Best possible outcome. Battle over in 20 seconds.

2 swords into Mo, 1 sword into Harmonia. This is what happened in the video. Also good outcome and easy win.

2 swords into Harmonia, 1 sword into Mo. This is the worst case scenario. Unless you get lucky with no glances on Harmonia and at least 1 crit to kill Harmonia, you've most likely lost.
So overall, given that you survive first turn shenanigans (Mo first turn strip/stunning your team), 3 out of the 10 remaining scenarios are easy wins, 5 are good chances of winning, and only 2 result in most likely losses (depending on crits on fire).
Strategy: You can figure this one out.
Runing considerations:
Kahli - Ideally you use a regular slow nuker fat Kahli. This Kahli is my speed Kahli and might not do enough damage to 1 shot some Harmonias. I can't use my regular fat Kahli because she's slower than Kat. I don't bother speed tuning it because I don't normally use Kat teams.
Chloe - I recommend you use a shield offset to add another set of buffs to reduce Mo Long S2 chances of messing you up even further.
Kat - 100 CR slow nuker build. I recommend getting some extra HP on her, helps greatly if you ever want her to be able to tank a hit from a fire bruiser.
Seriousness factor: 5/10. Fun, quick, and easy. But not all that reliable.
