This has started very randomly. Previously, no issues falling asleep at night (or during the day for a nap, in the light etc). Usually in bed between 9-11 and up 5-8 depending on work. Never experienced insomnia before. No issues staying asleep aside from a bit of sleep apnea but during those brief moments of "waking up" would hardly be aware and fall right back asleep. Have been assessed, used CPAP etc. and still no history of this kind of sleep disruption all the years with SA.

Now, lay down and fall asleep fairly easy but within 1-2 hours wide awake. Will be awake until the early morning and then get 20-30 minutes at a time for a couple hours.

No new stressors beyond the usual life st

I'm looking to make the full switch to PC gaming since my ex got the console in our split and I've been told upgrading my old ass PC isn't worth it. The heaviest games I would likely play would be Assassin's Creed, Indiana Jones, SpiderMan etc. Shopping around and was recommended this set up, would it be sufficient?

Model: HP EliteDesk 800 G3

Processor/Storage: Intel Core i5-6500 Quad Core Processor 3.20 GHz. 16 GB RAM. 512GB NVME SSD. 1TB HDD

Graphics: AMD RX 550 4GB

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

It's under $400CAD which is appealing since I don't have too much higher of a budget right now.

Kinda dumb question but I have been a disc-only player for these games most of my life and just made the transition to Steam after TS4 was purchased for me as a gift. I don’t really like it after a couple weeks of play, but I see that TS3 is available in a big bundle and want to jump back in. However, I’m worried about system requirements.

I have TS3 + several expansions on discs that I used to play no problem but I ended up uninstalling them when I bought a new computer ~4 years ago because the colours were off and it had something to do with the graphics card being too new (I think? This was a few years ago now and I think that was problem). I struggled to get it fixed and gave up, sadly

I was attempting to make berry crumble this weekend and messed up the crumble part twice (twice!!) due to getting distracted. Now I have a big bowl of mixed dough but I don’t know where to go with it - cookies? pie crust? Would love some pointers or a recipe that uses a similar dough so these ingredients won’t be wasted. Mine contains:

2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon fine salt 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) frozen unsalted butter, grated 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 large eggs

It is currently fully blended into a smooth but tacky/sticky slightly wet dough. What could I bake with this?

Looking for size 14 men’s ice skates!

ISO: Hobbies, Games & Sporting

Hi everyone! I know this doesn’t quite fit the spirit of the sub as I doubt many skates are Canadian-made at this point but I have no clue where else to look. I want my partner to be able to enjoy the ice and get outdoors in winter but am having trouble with the usual online stores to find his size. I’d like to at least buy/pickup from a Canadian store rather than wait for them to be shipped in from elsewhere (and arrive mid summer, if ever!).

Are there any stores that may carry this size, maybe a little niche place or something? Is this something that you can ask to maybe custom order in a pair from the bigger retailers? Or is he doomed to be the rinkside thermos holder for life?

Hi all - I know this isn’t a common flavour to make so my recipes to reference are few.

The no-churn recipe I used called for 2tsp orange extract to 4tsp anise extract for the liquorice ribbon but it has come out SO bitter! Would you think it better to make an additional batch of just orange flavoured cream to dilute it, or add plain cream to dilute both flavours overall? I assume the anise is the problem but orange extract isn’t exactly sweet on its own..

I'm in Ontario, currently near the Mississauga area and willing to drive within an hour's range to pick up. Looking to buy resistance bands - the basic loop ones and the open strap ones that can be anchored and used with handles - and don't want to buy cheap from Amazon or stand in line at Walmart. Any places you can suggest?

I've only ever made sweet potato before, this will be my first blueberry pie. I've inherited a few cans of blueberry filling and I want to use them up to make space in our cupboards. Guess it's a good chance to practice more elaborate crusts! My questions are:

  • Since this is such a "wet" pie I'm wondering if I should pre-bake the crust before adding the filling and doing a full bake?

  • How can I jazz up canned filling to make it a little more interesting? I have some bottles of grand mariner and elderflower liquor I've toyed with putting in, but I'm not sure if that will cause issue

So, after years of trying and trying I've finally found y'all and the Simple Skincare site as a resource. I spent an hour at Shoppers running ingredient lists through a SD checker but I'd love advice on how you fit these products into a routine

Cleanser: Simple Kind to Skin Moisturizing Face Wash (Cream). I also have CeraVe Moisturizing Cream Wash on hand.

Moisturizer: Simple Kind to Skin Rich Replenishing Moisturizer. I also have CeraVe in the blue pump bottle, CeraVe Renewing SA cream on hand.

I grabbed Inkey List's BHA (because why not, get them Optimum points girl) and Indeed's Squalane Oil. (I realize now the squalane is sugarcane derived, would that be problematic?)

I also have o

Hi everyone! This past weekend I started seeing the the red (!) like symbol on my dash. At first I only noticed it late at night when driving home from work. It would flicker on when I was braking and go off when I accelerated. The next day it would not appear at all. It's been 3 days and now the light is occasionally flickering on during morning driving and then not at all. I know my parking break is not engaged and it was recently checked over in regards to the recall issue. The other reasons I can see that light would come on is brake fluid low or "other malfunction."

I plan on checking the brake fluid in the morning but I'm wondering what other malfunction this could be indicating? M

So, for most of my 20s my skin has been dry-ish, always red, very sensitive. I've been using CeraVe Moisturizing Cleanser & their moisturizer in the dark blue bottle for 3 years no issues. But I felt like my skin was just okay - still mild redness, less irritation, no breakouts. But it wasn't great and was still dry sometimes after using that moisturizer.

In August I bought the Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser to try it out. Two weeks in and my face was wet/greasy to the point it was getting in my eyes when I drove, and I had white/blackheads and small breakouts all over my chin - all rare for me. I discontinued use, just washed with water and washcloth for a few days.

WeVibe Moxie issue?

NSFWDiscussion

Hi everyone! I'm no stranger to the WeVibe line but I recently got a Moxie and it's frustrating me to no end. I cannot connect to the app at all! I can connect no problem to every other toy and I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps I'd give a customer:

App is up to date, phones are new enough and updated. Phone cases off. All remotes, toys, or other Bluetooth devices removed from the room. Great Bluetooth and wifi connection. Hard reset and full charge.

All my other toys connect in a snap, has anyone else had this problem?

Hi everyone! I've been a bud & bong gal my whole life and I'm looking to make the jump to vapes & concentrates. Since I'm pretty new to this method (and frankly, the more I try to research here the more frazzled I get!) I'm looking for a vape/pen that is absolutely idiotproof. Something that's easy to load, use, clean, and maintain while being super discreet and portable.

A friend heard I was looking to get away from smoking and gave me her Kanger Subox mini but from what I gather I would have to modify the tank and regularly replace coils and stuff, so I'm wondering if that's worth my time and easy to do, or if there's a simpler approach that's better for a beginner.

Thanks!
