Seems to me that when the servers crash, you can lose as much as 30 minutes of gameplay progress. Public quests, personal quests, loot, exp -- it all disappears.

These rollbacks are pretty unacceptable, especially when the crashes happen so often. 3 times in the past 2 nights for me, each time losing quite a bit of progress (probably a little over an hour of stuff). In one case, I had to basically repeat an entire personal quest because of the disconnect throwing me back at the start (back to basic).

This is not fun.

Some suggestions to make the game less frustrating to play at times:

  • The timer is too short on revives when you're downed. Extend it by adding a team charisma modifier.
  • Expand respawn options to "respawn nearby" (auto-selects a close landmark) and "choose respawn location" (currently the only option).
  • Some handwritten notes are hard to impossible for me to read. Let us scan them into pipboy.
  • Add a symbol next to item names to denote: obtained plans in the barter menu, weapons for which we have the mods unlocked already, and mods we can craft ourselves.
  • Provide an option that changes what the bash/power attack/throw button does. Tapping it to throw a grenade and holding for melee m

I'm currently a SAM main, and I'm happy with my performance. My static is on God Kefka now, and I have an alt I'd like to learn to play MCH on at a similar skill level to my SAM, but I'm worried it's going to hurt my ability to raid effectively on SAM.

Is this reasonable? Is there a chance it could make me better at DPS overall instead of worse? What's been your experience?

I've had the memory of this game for a long time, but I'm not 100% that it's entirely real. There isn't much to go on here, I know. :( But I'd be over the moon if I could prove this memory/game are real. I'm fairly certain that if the game is real, it's kind of niche. I've played most major NES games. I'm a very active gamer.

What I know it wasn't, but is kind of similar to in a way: Megaman, Castlevania, Metroid.

Platform(s): NES (I think, but it could've been a competitor console)

Genre: Action with exploration/light RPG elements

Estimated year of release: 1988-1993? (not 100% sure, but I'm quite confident it was 8 bit era)

This megaflare crap is out of control.

EDIT:

[GM]Gm Fennratth >> Greetings, [me]. I am GM Fennratth. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to contact us. I understand that you want to report a player for flooding the chat channel with the Megaflare emote while in Eureka. Is this correct?

To Gm Fennratth: There was emote flooding, but also I was wondering; if the chat channel wasn't being flooded and they were just spamming a muted version of the emote, is that OK?

Gm Fennratth >> That is still a reportable action. You made the right choice in reporting this. Can you provide me with the name of the player you wish to report?

What are your ideas? I have a few, not saying they're great but they're just things I have been thinking about. I'd be glad to see what everyone else would want done.

  1. Use a reduced action set (could just be PVP's straight up) in Eureka. The grinding is monotonous anyway, so it may as well be made simpler in order to allow us to focus on the social experience. Doing a full rotation for hours and hours on end means you'll not only be exhausted (and possibly have a lot of hand/wrist pain) but you won't get any chance to talk to people.

  2. Lower the queue-in requirement to LV60 (or lower) and let people level their classes at the same time as their elemental level. Normalize stats and ignor

My leasing office notified us today that during the 17th to the 27th they will be bringing a team working for their lender through the entire complex, but they are not providing individual inspection times. This seems unreasonable to me.

If it was one day, that's one thing, but a window of 10 days where they will be bringing their lender's teams through our property seems like a bit much.

Thoughts?

It effectively makes FFXIV a sequel to FFT & FF12 while confirming the links between both of those games. I was blown away. All the music felt so amazing to hear again.

I loved the inscription underwater that mirrored tavern dispatch job report language too!

And it makes me wonder: are any of the early astral/umbral eras FFT or FFXII time periods?

The game would be a lot more pleasant if players were required to opt into a positive statement about their responsibilities to each other before engaging in group content. It would also provide a template for us to distribute contributions by.
