I'm on the legacy $25 party pay plan and had mega problems traveling in Nashville this afternoon during rush hour. Had to get to my hotel and had no network connection for Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze even though Visible was showing 4-5 bars of LTE. I was able to get to my destination in Brentwood only because I happen to have downloaded the google map for this area a while ago. It could route me turn-by-turn just using GPS all the while showing I had no network connection.

Is this normal for Nashville? I tried a search but posts are 2 years old. Definitely freaking me out as I travel a lot and we are no map app dependent. Never had this serious a problem anywhere and in the past six mo

I'm trying to sign an Iphone 12 up for the free trial. It says the IMEI is not available. I double checked with my current carrier that the phone is not and has never been locked. I've been chatting on Facebook Messenger with Visible who checked and says the IMEI number does work when it's entered without spaces. The sign up process in the app automatically inserts spaces. I was told to sign up online and then blown off on Messenger. It doesn't appear you can sign up on the website; the website directs you to a QR code for downloading the app.

Any thing else I can try?

Is this true? Is there finally a charge for this?

I am using a MG10XU for livestreaming guitar & vocal and using a bit of reverb on each. I need the guitar to be much louder in my headphone mix. Is there any way to create a monitor channel for the guitar (the guitar is both direct to one channel and mic'd with another) so that i can control its volume in my headphone? I'm willing to give up having reverb on the guitar if need be though i'd want to keep it on the one vocal mic.

Somehow I've done something to my left knee and I have reluctantly come to the conclusion I need to let it rest for a bit. I usually walk on my treadmill 60-90 minutes daily.

Are there any exercises I could explore that would count as exercise minutes to close my green ring? This could be an opportunity to embrace something new but I've always assumed you don't get minutes unless your heart is pumping cardio.

Besides the treadmill the only other equipment I have at home is a pair of 8lb dumbbells.

iphone ios 14 let’s you know when an app is accessing your camera or microphone. i noticed Noom was accessing my camera when i opened it and for the life of me i can’t figure out why Noom needs camera access. i’ve been nooming for almost a year now. i don’t think there’s face id and right now i don’t even see a way to log in/out. i turned off the camera for Noom in the Privacy setting. And thanks Apple for giving users this information.

i updated to OS 7 and discovered you can now also change the Stand and Exercise minutes goals. Whoa! hadn’t heard that was coming. wonder why Apple decided to give in on that.

new to Focusrite. did a facebook live stream last night and the best i could figure out was guitar input and vocal mic going into 2 channels of my mackie mixer, 1/4" into the mixer out on the mackie going into the left input of the Focusrite. actually sounded decent but i only had sound on the left side.

next time around would i get stereo sound if I used this splitter?

I'm setting up to do a vocal/acoustic guitar live stream next week and I just this evening received the 2i2 interface. i am testing it out with my iphone as that is what i will be streaming with. The second channel is giving me a green halo for input and I can hear it in my cans but it is not recording to the iphone. i tried this first with an SM87 in channel one and guitar in two. when i figured out the guitar wasn't coming through direct i did some troubleshooting. the guitar records when plugged into channel 1. The vocal mic, which previously worked in Channel one was not outputting when plugged into Channel two.

I'm pretty sure i'm hooked up correctly but is there anything i should doub

Is there a way to calibrate the humidity sensor on the Ecobee 3? I’ve checked it against a dehumidifier i just purchased and two other hygrometers and the ecobee is about 12 percentage points off. If i had known that i probably wouldn’t have bothered buying the dehumidifier as the humidity in my house isn’t as bad for my guitars as i feared.

Promo says every mobile order not “purchase.” I know in the past the use of the word “visit” still meant money had to be spent.

For my April Activity challenge I had to walk/run a certain amount of miles. Every day when i checked my progress in the Awards section of the Activity app the watch showed how many miles i would need to average in a day to meet the goal. At one point i did the math and realized if i followed that i would come up way short. For my May Challenge the goal is 2,640 exercise minutes and again I just did the math on the average it’s suggesting. Not going to follow it because if i did i’d be about 90 minutes short.

The watch is a hard task master and is not your friend!

Doesn't mean you'll have Spotify Premium for life. After 11+ years I retired from Starbucks effective last monday. Spotify Premium disappeared for me today. Dang! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Guess Headspace will be next. Still, I have my discount and weekly coffee markout that will follow me to the grave.
