2D tilt?

 Question

I feel like I'm just missing something really obvious but when I use the frame the 2D interface is tilted and slightly off.

I can move it around/make it bigger or smaller no problems. But the only way there seems to be to adjust the tilt is the recentre option which just moves it and doesn't change the tilt.

It's only by a small amount but it's super noticeable, be nice to fix.

I've been using VuhDo for years and love it, but unfortunately in the last few months it has begun lagging horrendously in 25 man raids. I've tried every possible fix but it's persisting across two different installs and the only thing I've found that works is disabling the addon.

Anyway, I've been slowly recreating my frames in Grid2 which is going OK, but I haven't found a replacement for the VuhDo buff panel.

For anyone not familiar it displays all the buffs you have to apply to yourself or your group, how long they have left, and lets you reapply any of them with one click. It's perfect!

Any standalone addons that do this? The ones I've found just by searching for "buff", "buff manag

So until today I had two audio channels for my headset - one for games and one for chat, which appeared as two devices in Windows sound manager.

After updating to the latest firmware today, I now only have one channel and it's being registered as Speakers (Arctis Pro Wireless). I've rebooted/restarted the basestation etc and it's made no difference.

Having the two channels for audio was a massive convenience, hoping this is a bug and not something done on purpose. Any suggestion welcome.

Edit: Fixed! Uninstalled the steelseries software/reinstalled and when I fired it up it said I needed to update the firmware again. Applied it and everything is back how it should be.

I've been self employed/worked from a home office for years now and thought I'd share a few things with people. I know we're all used to working remote however we're currently facing a situation where a lot of people who only work from home a few days here and there will be looking at doing so full time for weeks or months. It's different, trust me.

  1. Get a proper, dedicated, OH&S compliant workspace. This is the biggest one for more reasons than you think. Just because you can do your job on the couch with a laptop watching Netflix does not mean you should, if you do this long term you are going to find yourself unable to switch off from work mode as relaxing on the couch just fee

With so many people working from home the next few weeks I suspect more than a couple of people need to be able to keep an eye on work things but would like some media in the corner of their screen.... or would like to be playing WoW but need to keep an eye on some work thing in the corner of their screen. Whichever.

Anyway, lots of programs have an always on top feature, however I find a simple AHK script to be far more practical. It works for every window and is easy to toggle on/off.

The Script:

#NoEnv
SendMode Input
SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir%

^SPACE::  Winset, Alwaysontop, , A

How to use:

  1. Download AHK from here. Yes it is

Logged in today (PC) after the patch and such, only to find that my character has a somewhat broken inventory, has lost or rest a bunch of quest steps and is just in general not how I left it when I last logged on.

Things I've noticed:

  • I have lost Thorn after obtaining it last week.
  • I have gained Oxygen SR3 which I have not completed the steps for.
  • I no longer have a clan banner.
  • I've reset progress on a bunch of quests and been put in to the middle of others (such as the forge quests/mysterious box quest which I've completed).
  • I have a bunch of bounties in my inventory half done I never had before. My own bounties are mostly gone.
  • Several inventory items just don't show up w

I've been doing a lot of drive recovery, cloning, and other fun things of late so thought I'd pick up an actual dock rather than just using the my standard bunch of cables and adapters.

Something like this seemed ideal but thought I'd throw the question out and see if anybody had any particular recommendations to share.

Ammo.

I'm really enjoying this gun now, it fires super fast, it makes things explode, it melts shields. It may not be the best gun in the game but it feels exotic and that's what I want in my shiny yellow friends.

My only gripe is how often I'm running out of ammo for the damn thing. It's a primary weapon, I shouldn't be finding myself regularly having to run around hunting for little grey boxes unless I've spent a long time not moving.

That's pretty much it honestly. Either a much bigger reserve or (even better) some form of ammo return. Maybe when you get an explosion? I don't know, but running out of ammo for my bread and butter weapon really doesn't feel very exotic to me. It's n

So basically everyone's view on the circles seems heavily dependent on their play style. People who go for aggressive hot dropping love it because game that they die there's zero difference and games that they live they end up well geared with a bunch of poorly geared people being pushed toward them.

People who preferred a slower pace of play? Not so much. Long drops are simply not viable at all any more because odds are you're going to get 30 seconds of loot time before having to run.

My own preferred playstyle, which was to drop at places like Mylta or Georgopol crates, has taken a heavy hit. I always liked to drop somewhere that a few others would come, but not school levels of people

The red zone just... isn't fun. I'm not whining about dying, I die all the time in PUBG. That's fine. But dying to the red zone feels about the same as having your entire computer shut down mid game and makes me want to continue playing about the same level. It sucks the fun out of the game like no other death.

I'm not saying get rid of it (though I'd be fine with that), but it needs to be tweaked somehow so that it actually feels like it contributes to the game in some way other than letting you occasionally mask your footsteps.

There's so many awesome possibilities that could replace the red zone, can we at least try some of them? Put them in events on the weekend or whatever else,

IF YOU WANT A SKIN BUY IT FROM THE MARKETPLACE. NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS, IT IS CHEAPER THAN OPENING LOOT BOXES.

I'll put it right there to make things clear. Do. Not. Buy. Loot. Boxes. If you want to spend 10 bucks here and there and consider it lost money for fun, whatever. But don't go chasing items, if you can't afford to buy them at the going rate on the marketplace then you cannot afford them. It is a virtual certainty that you will spend more money in small chunks on boxes/keys than you would just buying the skins you want.

I know it's tempting to say "well I'm not paying 100 bucks for a skin! I'll open this box for a couple bucks instead and try to get it that way...". 5

OK, we all get it.. this game is terrible! Optimisation! Desync! Bugs! The complaints are all there but at the end of the day no matter how much people are complaining, they keep coming back for more because this game is a lot of fun.

So if you've decided to keep playing for good or for bad, there's a few things you can do which will improve your experience. If you want to know more about a specific topic there's a lot of resources out there you can find, which I'll try to provide as I go.

DISCLAIMER: Everyone has different circumstance and requirements, therefore this is not an exhaustive guide, it's just some general tips that you can use as a starting point to improve your experien

We were told that Hold to ADS was coming with 1.0.... but as of yet it hasn't made it's way to the test servers other than as an unsupported and unofficial .ini change which has been around for quite a while.

I've been using that change since the second it was added, but it has the minor drawback of adding a slight delays to ADS time (which I don't mind)... and the serious drawback of occasionally getting stuck in the third person aim mode and not being able to ADS at all, nor quickly click out of it. The latter drives me insane when it happens and has cost me several chicken dinners. I just got killed thanks to it yet again on th
