Novel Translation: How Dare You
Ep 25: The Empress Dowager reveals that she's from Qinag. (They haven't talked much about Qiang, it's a tiny country between Yin and Xia. They are poison experts). Makes so much sense for her to be a traitor. Yu Wanuin talks Xiahou DAn down from attacking the Crown Prince and he passes out from the poison powder. They realize that he was born with a trigger for the poison and the powder is just a catalyst, which is why it doesn't hurt Yu Wanuin.
The Empress Dowager dies and they're arranging her funeral, while Prince Duan is plotting to move the country's armies. They set the caged birds of the Empress Dowager free:
Physician Xiao can't figure out what poison was used against the emperor, but he's on board with fighting poison with poison, so Yu Wanuin sends a note to Prince Tu'er in hopes that he can help them find more of what was on his dagger. Xiao asks if Yu Wanuin can convince the emperor to release Xie Yonger (he's in LOVE), she agrees. Yu Wanuin pretends to faint so they can skip mourning and make dumplings.
Mr. Bei is insulted by their incompetence
The scholars are also celebrating and they almost seem to realize that Er Long is a woman. We see our friend Bai (undercover as a general):
Mr. Bei put lucky coins in all the dumplings (I think it's only supposed to be one). Prince Duan has a memorial for his mother. Xie Yonger is preparing to leave the palace. She wants to start a business empire.
Prince Duan instructs one of his men to pretend to be Yu Wanuin's lover. He has the fake love letters and sachet from Yu Wanuin. They will use this as an excuse to overthrow the emperor.
