Ragnarok Mobile Archer Guide - Equipment sets for each Archetype
In this part of the guide, I'll try to give "budget" and "complete" sets for each type of build. The purpose is that there are good-enough equipment that you can get in a reasonable amount of time while you save up for the big ticket items that will probably stay equipped for a long time. Note that I'll only be talking about base equipment here. No over ups, no cards and no enchants yet. Let's start!
Budget Low level Gear (Early game gear)
Weapon - Double Bound or Crossbow
Offhand - Golden Ornament or Fox Wrist Guard
Headgear - Feather Bonnet or any headgear with DEX/AGI or good defense
Armor - Tights, Dragon Vest or Panties
Garment - Deathcat Cape, Blueeve Cape, or Cotton Shirt/Undershirt
Footwear - Shoes or Deathcat Shoes
Accessories - Flower Rings, Clips or Luna Brooches
This should cost around 1m-2m in total and should give good base damage for lvl 30-40. Also, most of these are crafted items so even new characters can get them via farming. I strongly suggest getting a good starter weapon then buying 2 clips since that's going to help a lot with getting through Prontera and Izlude quests.
In the early levels, there isn't much distinction between the different builds since Archers don't have falcons or damage traps yet. It's better for Blitzers and Trappers to go AGI/DEX then start adding INT after they become a hunter.
Budget Trapper/Falconeer Gear (Early game gear)
Weapon - Double Bound or Luna Bow
Offhand - Statue of Judgement or Memory Book
Headgear - Wizard Hat
Armor - Stardust Robe or Angelic Protection
Garment - Any, there are no garments that give SP or Int
Footwear - Shoes
Accessories - Luna Brooch or Clips
The idea behind Trapper/Falconeer budget gear is to get as much INT and/or SP from equipment. Also, if you check the prices, these items are mid-tier in cost (around 300-400k or higher) because you can only be a trapper after becoming a Sniper, or a Falconeer after you have a significant amount of jlvls in the Hunter class. A new Sniper or jlvl 30+ Hunter should have a lot more funds to work with than a newbie archer.
Now we move on to the Best-In-Slot items.
Complete DPS Gear (Late game gear)
Weapon - Mystery Bow
Offhand - Nile's Bracelet
Headgear - Cat Ear Berret
Armor - Tier 3 Tights/Ranger Clothes
Garment - Deathcat Cape
Footwear - (Advanced) Sack Teddy Shoes
Accessories - Tier 3 Gloves/Dogtooth Gloves
Backpiece - Quiver
These are the equipment that give the greatest amount of percent-based upgrades in gear. I think snipers have the best options for scaling equipment in the game. Completing this set is just the beginning of the journey for DPS. Enchanting, slotting then carding equipment and over-upping gear is the next step. None of those things are going to be cheap!
Complete Blitzer Gear (Late game gear)
Weapon - Cursed Lyre or Mystery Bow
Offhand - Nile's Bracelet, Memory Book/Book of Life, Tier 3 Fox Bracer or Tier 3 Golden Bracelet
Headgear - Any headgear that adds DEX, AGI, or INT
Armor - Ranger Clothes
Garment - Deathcat Cape or Undershirt
Footwear - T3 Shoes/Bunny Slipper or Sack Teddy Shoes
Accessories - Agate Clip, T3 Gloves, T3 Flower Rings
Backpiece - Quiver
Again, the biggest piece of equipment for Blitzers is the Mountain Ranger Tights (or MRT). You can wear nothing on the other slots as long as you can get the armor. It's really that good. Aside from that, Blitzers have a lot of options depending on how heavily they want to invest in a certain stat. For example, an AGI heavy Blitzer will probably get a lot more use out of T3 Fox Bracers, while a LUK heavy Blitzer will probably get more out of T3 Golden Bracelet. Hybrid Blitzers will probably want one of each to use depending on what they want to accomplish.
Complete Trapper/Falconeer Gear (Late game gear)
Weapon - Luna Bow or Cursed Lyre
Offhand - Book of Life, Statue of Mother Mary, or Evil Bracer
Upper Headgear - Ulle's Cap, Block of Wood, Mage Hat, Deviruchi Balloon, or Fricca's Circlet
Middle Headgear - Elven Ears
Armor - Cat's Blessing or Ranger Clothes
Garment - Any garment that will help you survive
Footwear - Slotted Tier 3 Shoes or Bunny Slippers
Accessories - Eye of Dullahan or Agate Clips
Trapper gear focuses on getting as much SP regen and SP cost reduction possible to sustain their skills. Traps and Falcon skills have crazy SP costs compared to other skills so we need sustainable SP to keep the damage up. It's also a good idea to get additional INT where possible.
A special mention has to be made here for Ulle's Cap + Cat's Blessing combo for Trappers. It has a whopping -20% SP Cost bonus which is excellent for Trappers but not available to Falconeers because it takes the armor slot.
Stay tuned and I'll talk about skill builds in the next post!
