Semi-daily hero tips. Day 95: Tiny

DISCLAIMER

A lot of you probably know about the weekly hero discussion, but that often ends up in a meta discussion (whether or not the hero needs buffs, etc) or a meme war than actual tips to play, itemize and build the hero.

This is what I'd like to do. Please discuss any notes I made and possible improvements while also giving tips of your own if you have them.

The roles, skill builds and item builds, as well as a lot of the notes are my opinion on matters and should not be seen as a must do or don't. Also remember that almost every single build or role is situationally possible.

A lot of the tips on heroes were also mentioned in tsunami's amazing hero tips series he did over the last couple of years.

Tiny

Notes:

• Keep the avalanche delay in mind when you try to stun
• Avalanche stuns constantly, just like ice path
• Toss damages enemy buildings if a unit lands on it
• In the laning phase, try to toss enemies to an ally near your own tower
• You can also try to toss an enemy to a beastmaster hawk hovering over the trees for instance.
• Practice your right clicks with tiny, you hit very slow, but hard.
• For most damage avalanche first, toss second. Target the unit you want to toss for the most damage.
• Versus: As a melee carry, get BKB/Silver Edge or craggy will fuck you up
• Tiny can't trade hits well in lane because of his 0 base armor
• Toss can also target runes.
• Good versus: PL, AM, Void, Ursa (craggy), Chen, BM, Arc Warden (lots of AOE wave clear), Earth Spirit, Slark (has no response to blink initation)
• Friends: Slardar, Centaur (Toss stun combo), Ursa, LS (toss enemies to them or them to enemies), Beastmaster (toss to hawk or gank squad)
• Counters: LS (Can rage while right clicking tiny), Bristle (tiny has low armor, bristle high HP, buys lotus), Viper (DoT against blink), Echantress (attack speed slow), WK (comes back after tiny combo), Dazzle (Tiny has low armor, Dazzle grave)

Role: hard carry, mid

Skill build: ava, toss, ava, toss, toss/ava, grow, toss, ava/toss, ava --> craggy

Item build: (Wand/Bottle, Raindrops) Treads, blink, (shadow blade,) echo sabre, agh's, (silver edge, BoT, deso, AC, manta, BKB, daedalus)
